  • Chuck Berry is a national treasure.

  • I kinda wonder what happened to the go-go dancers later on in life. Did some of them eventually become housewives or something of the equivalent?

  • hey check out how the the go go dancer on the right dances at the beggining of the song

  • all hail the one true king

  • Without chuck berry the rock 'n roll would have been different.

    He rocks!!!

  • Compare Chuck and Muddy and you deserve one as well... Everybody has their influences.

  • compair Angus and Chuck and you deserve an ass beating

  • Angus does the duckwalk as a kind of tribute to Chuck Berry, who he always says is his main influence. It's a bit daft comparing them, anyway.

  • awesomness...

  • Every band should have go-go dancers.

  • @def48 im sure you ment "go jonny go" dancers :)

  • Chuck is THE man!

  • chuck berry rocks dude

  • to pisstang and problemchild... i agree angus young duck walk is wicked but chuck is the one who started it. ROCK IT 4EVER whooo chuck rocks dude............ oh and why make shit racial shouldent rockers admire the blues artists who prokryatide rock and roll, thats a whole nother story though

  • The dancers are hilarious.

  • yeah of course you do.

  • without chuck berry there would have never been a duckwalk

  • those white kids dancing cant even come close to how badass chuck does the duck walk.

  • A legend..

  • Those kids suck at air guitar.

  • you can still see him live, he is on tour (in europe at least)

  • i saw him :-) he was , for his age, still really good

  • GOD!!

this guy must have been such a thrill to watch live....great vid...

  • Wonderful video.

  • I don't know if he was": proud of being black". I think he didn't give a fuck to those stupid colors differences. All he was doing was Rock'n'Roll and trying to destroy peopole's color differences wich music.

  • Good post. thats what rock 'n' roll was and is all about. The music, and not giving a shit.

  • Anybody know a date or source on this? Gibson switched to square markers on 335 guitars in '62 so I know it's at least that old. The dancing seems like early/mid 60's for sure. Great vid! Thanks for sharing.

  • if you've never air-guitarred this song, you're not a music fan. not just rock and roll, music at all.

  • Chuck Berry was and is extremely beautiful, not ugly. You have no taste.

  • thats style...

  • primitive cage dancing.

  • Chuck Berry was OOOOOOOOOONE UGLY BLACK MAN. But it still turns me on. Oooh yeh, mah pants already fell down. UBER SEXY!

  • Black and Proud!

  • His eyes o.O

  • I'd forgotten how really strong his legs had to be to do that duck walk. Mine ache just watching it.

  • You can't overstate the importance of this guy. Chuck Berry made the guitar the central instrument in rock'n'roll, and he invented the power chord. His licks are in the arsenal of every lead guitarist that came after him. Awesome clip, aliasnut!

  • "Chuck Berry made the guitar the central instrument in rock'n'roll" He sure helped, but Jackie Brenston, Bill Haley, Elvis Presley, and others used guitar on their records before Chuck started recording.

  • As did Elmore James before the lot of them!

  • "Flat Foot Boogie" by the Jackson Brothers on RCA Victor from 1952 is well worth hearing, an excellent feature for the guitarist in a style pretty similar to Goree Carter's and Berry's, mid-'50s-sounding backbeat on the drums.

  • Lol! Those dancers on the pillars are dancing like they're covered in fire ants.

  • I could care less if he's gay, (He's not) I could care less if he liked white woman (He did or does) If you like Rock and Roll, you can thank Chuck Berry.

  • una joyita!!!

  • Chuck Berry Rocks ROCKS! ok

  • hush... i was kidding

  • did you know chuck berry was ghey?

  • Thats Gay and He's not. He loves white blonde Women.

And so what has that got to do with Music? Grow up take alook around.
