I don't know if they're ugly wherever it is that you're at, but if they're not, then you guys made a bad trade in getting Mackerel for your strippers. I hope you guys know somebody that knows how to make Stockfisch cuz as far as I know, Mackerel doesn't taste good any other way
If the strippers were pretty, I would have gotten at least Halibut for them. If they were gorgeous, I would have gotten Swordfish... at a rate of 3-5 Swordfish per stripper
Mackeral all fished out where we live. Used to be able to put a bucket overboard 30 years ago and just pull them out. Never thought they would be gone. Guess if you continue like you are, you will be the same as us in a few years.
We almost do it the same way, exept we have pipes from the fishing cabinets going right down into the cargo area and into a huge net. using 2x BJ5000 jigging machines, exept we use 50 hooks on each line and only 2 wheels on each line.. Norwegian
Not at all. We are generally trip limited to 5000 lbs per day. That can be taken by two hand cranks with strippers and 30 hooks per line in about two hours.
these fish are far too small they are the size of smolt salmon man. fucken hell catch some decent sized :L goldfish in my tank are bigger lol
