@delvin141440 I actually don't like Taylors much. They play nice, but the electronics don't sound that good plugged in, and the electronics are also notorious for being fragile and breaking way too easily and often. Martins, Guilds, high-end Alvarezes, and Breedloves are all great choices, though.

The lyrics are amazing, the the passion in the way he sings it is awesome, and the fact that it's also a song describing the "divine romance" that we can have with God just makes it all the more splendiferous (yes that's a word)

@adamlopo And to answer your question, there is no doubt in my mind that Jesus would love him, and would absolutely love to hear what Phil has to say about their divine romance. I respect your opinion, everyone is entitled to one, but I must say, maybe instead of spreading words of judgment, we should spend more time spreading the word of the Lord. After all, we’re all on the same team :)

@adamlopo These comments always surprise me, only because aren’t we, as Christians, on the same side? So why are we taking the time to say things to put us against one another, why not use this time to go out to the people who have not met the Lord and share His word. Also, if this song does not make your heart dance for the Lord like it does mine and the numerous others who listen to it, that is completely ok, but I don’t think it’s necessary to voice judgment in such a negative light.

Why do the lyrics matter? what matters is that This man is singing from his soul and you can see it! Lyrics should be the last thing you worry about when praising God.....What truly matters is how much your in love with him. And i think with all honesty that Jesus would most defenitly listen to him...... I don't know how much deeper you can get, but if you want to be truthful, all words are shallow when singing to God..there's no way to accurately portray the love He has shown for us, but I do wish you'd be more appreciative of watching this man poor his heart out

@delvin141440 I actually don't like Taylors much. They play nice, but the electronics don't sound that good plugged in, and the electronics are also notorious for being fragile and breaking way too easily and often. Martins, Guilds, high-end Alvarezes, and Breedloves are all great choices, though.
