I studied Culture and Ethnicity in CalStateLA as a minor for my undergrad degree..People confuse the appreciation of ones Culture and the pride that accompanies it with going around and saying ones culture is better than another! I saw the Michael Richards video and it bothered me. What you're saying here, what he said in court, bothers me too, however I agree with it. It bothers me because this is such a hot topic and one that can't be debated because of the racial climate in our country. It's not going to change either.
I wouldn't voice this opinion even though it's true because it's too much trouble. Plenty of things in life work out better when you keep your mouth shut, this is sadly one of those things.
