If you are not from the ghetto and have had no experiance with it's environs, the struggle which is not fault of yours. And the constant police assults, low high unemployment etc.. Then this song gives you a real experiance of what we as a people got through around the world. yes ghetto's are the same everywhere.
Great song- a true classic. Check out the brother in the white tank top dancing with the white chick over Phillip's right shoulder, he is tearing that shit up. This was when you had to have style and smoothness and people took pride in what they were doing-be it song or dance. Just as modern music is mostly shit so is what passes for dance these days. I still play this to this day and always will.
