  • Have this case over 2 years now, and its still very good, have a gtx580 in there, I think if you get this case, you will have a fucking good case for the next 10+ years.

  • Will 2x GTX 590 fit in that? Please reply!

  • Could anyone help me out? :)

I am planning to use Corsair H80 CPU watercooler and two Sapphire Radeon HD 6790 1GB GDDR5

Will there be enough space in this case? Hope for a quick answer

  • Did this one replace the scout one? like which one is better?

  • Anyone know if this baby fits the Noctua NH-D14 and 2 GTX 570? From the looks on the video, it looks like it can but with little room.

  • Wat motherboard was in that case?

  • too bad about it not having a side Window option tho.

  • @1981z28camaro There's another version of this case with a side panel.

  • i recommend it. it's 25euros at the local store :oo

  • You guys did realize the sniper does have a very small reset button right? The reset button should be under the power button. Just a quick heads up! ;)

  • 12kg empty ? WOW

  • @rrgert4 "Pussy Lifter. Couldn't handle the weights."

  • @muffemod what ? i meant that its light.. wow

  • @rrgert4 oh... LOL

  • @muffemod LaWL

  • I have this case and I love it. It knocked 10 degrees C off my temps. My 4890's VRM temps went down even more than that. Epic airflow.

  • Can somebody plz tell me if I can hook the fans up to A different fan controller which takes 3 pin fans. TIA.

  • I immediately bought this case after i saw this video :D

  • I LIKE YOUR PINK PEN

  • I HAVE IT !! :DDD

  • Thinking of using this case for a friends build and wants to go down the LGA 1155 route. I have heard mixed reviews about using this case for the job. Can anyone suggest whether this case will be sufficent, if not suggest another? Cheers

  • Will my Corsair H80 Liquid Cooler fit in?

  • would a v6gt fit in that case?

  • this gonna dig a big hole in my wallet :(

  • @ggoliathus unemployed?

  • @JustD3fy i am jus a student -.- but i bought it alr haha

  • i got this case, but there was no cooler master mousepad. that would have been icing on the cake. (or case)

  • I'm trying to bring my GPU temp down from 65-ish idle to a nice 40-55 idle and 70-77 at load (and I'm using a cheap case). the 90 C temp on the Sniper is a major turn off when you consider the number of fans and the size of the case. A case that gets to 90 C on any brand new component while sporting no less than 4 fans (not counting the CPU fan and GPU fan) should not be marketed to heavy users.

  • this case is great i built my pc with this case and it flows a bunch of air, and it looks cool as hell.

  • whats the difference from this and the CM storm sniper enforcer?

  • @ringelos this is bigger, more room to work with, looks better than the enforcer. This sniper is a beast I recomend it i have it you can check my video.

  • very professionally done video review! the pink ballpen is kinda standing out and weird lol :D but nice review! :)

  • How do you do to put the fan control workinh«g? it has an cable with 5 molex connections to plug the molex from the fans but how can i power it? i dont know how to do that; is something missing in the case? some cable or connection? just bought this at 3 days ago; urgent ansswer apreciated.

  • @tonifas1 did you fix it ? reply i can do a vid to show you how.

  • @MrNightwings74 yes . I already fix the problem; i pluged one in the PSU and the other two at the 5 extension cable and its just fine; this case is awesome case; at gaming, with my GPU that is a Cyclone and it puts all the worm air inside the case i can get, after an hour of gaming temperatures inside of 35celsius, 35celsius at the processor and 53 at the Gpu; sometimes the problem is not the Cpu or Gpu but the case that we have. Thanks for the concern ;D

  • Real shame that it's got FOUR usb2.0 ports at the front and no usb3.0 -_-

I thought the black edition was supposed to be an "updated" version?

  • @Xuvial the case came in the end of 2009...

  • @124Z312 I realize that >_< anyway I bought this case for my P67 build and so far it's been AWESOME! Silent but still moves a ton of air with the fan controller set to low.....and the cable management was very nice, the right side panel goes on without any problems even if you have a big mess of cables behind the motherboard tray.

    I recommend this case :)

  • I' m just gonna buy it is to genial...

  • great video, really helpful, thanks!

  • xD rly rly nice video tnks a lot!

  • The big question I have about this "black interior" fad is:

Is the black paint conductive? For example, does your meter give a nice beep while using it on conductivity mode and touching two points on the inner black surface with the leads?

If someone knows what I'm talking about and tested please let me know, even in other brand/models.

  • i think now maybe i should have gotten this instead of the scout. this would've fit my 6950 allot easier

  • @Camster3 And I would trade you if I lived near you. The Sniper is HUGE.

  • @TRYER25 yeh. if only i was patient enough 2 get the money

  • could you carry this thing xD LOL

  • Haha! You Need a Sharp Pencil like 3DGameMan

  • I have a questions i need to know if any of you can answer.

first off i am planning to buy this case off of new egg. It does not say black edition and it is priced at 139.99. I want to know if it comes with the side fan and is it the same as this one?

  • @PcWizTechProductions all fans are included. but i updated my side panel with a window you can buy that freezinghardware.eu pm me for more questions

  • @PcWizTechProductions Black Edition means that the internal case is all black. Without the exact word "Black Edition" you will get it stainless steel on the inside.

  • U.G.L.Y. corsair 600t ftw :)

  • @dudedude873 right , the 600t is WAY better !

  • @MrTRISTANCOOL indeed m8!

  • When u install the Graphic card, can u use screws? or isen't that possible at all?

Athough the monting is solid and good I would like to have the exstra support of the screws:) Would be nice is some1 answers :D

    -Thanks

  • @wiik93 I would think not. I am just like you, i want the extra support but ill give this a try on my next build.

  • @wiik93

You can use screws man. The clips are optional. Got my GTX570 screwed in.

  • great review man, nice job =)

  • is it the same size as the scout?

  • -3 I love 200 mm fans... xD

  • nice review!. So all the 200mm fans are included?

  • @Thesharpify ya i got the case self but updated him with a another side panel but all 200mm fans are included x

  • I'm gonna get the windowed version of this for my new build, I think the mesh panel looks ugly and plus that 200mm fan cant be worth the extra noise given where it is. If I spend time getting wire management perfect, I wanna be able to see it :)

  • nice review, you kept all the important stuff as long as it shuld be

  • I just got this case today, loving it. My old centurion 5 was cramped and suffered from very poor airflow. Some of my load temps dropped by as much as 10c while playing crysis.

The fans are a bit loud though, have to turn them down to about 40% to make the noise tolerable.

  • Ha ha, are you Canadian? I think there were 6 "outs" xD ^^

  • Comment removed

  • I like it! ONLY why did they give it feet to run away from my desk!! it makes it so ugly :(

  • @dudedude873

Because if the feet weren't there then the PSU would not be able to draw in air, and the 120mm fan spot at the bottom would be redundant.

  • This is extremely similar to the 600T from Corsair.

  • @andynator1000 well yes only the corsair is WAY nicer :)

  • Is it just me, or were the GPU temps really hot? I currently have a stock HP case and after 30 min of killing floor my GPU is only running at 85 C tops

  • yeahhh baby i have it :) and is the best silence ever and full air

  • Very nice review. :)

I'm thinking of buying this because it looks very nice.

  • Nice review...but...

What do you mean by "They went with a Sniper Theme and I think they really captured that". Really?!

Please describe how it is "Sniper Themed" because as far as I can tell...they just gave it a name that sounded cool.

To me a Sniper Theme would be a "Camo" or "Ghillie Suit" paint job. Maybe make it look more like a .50-cal weapon and have a strong Military feel.

  • @BigSlickSerpents I AGREE!! Sniper theme? Is a joke!!!

  • eu qro uma merdinha dessa!

  • Realy nice dude ! :D because of you im going to buy this one ! thanks for the help ! :)

    nice video BTW!

  • is the fan controller for all 3 200mm fans? greate review ;)

  • @124Z312 Yes. :)

  • I just got this case cant wait for ups to give it to me.

  • i like when he say's out

  • Can I put fans below the top cover?

  • are all of the 200mm fans intake fans?

  • has anyone else noticed that the Corsair 600T looks nearly similar to this?

  • @blah23 ..............Interesting that is a good point. I was actually looking at that case then I decided to search around found this, and looking at it overall you are actually right.....

  • Also, no reset?

  • Very good video. :)

Is there not a place of the bottom for a 140 or 120mm fan?

  • @furiousaaron There is a screwless 120mm fan mount at the bottom, provided you aren't using an oversized PSU

  • Comment removed

  • is there a dust filter on the side fan?

  • @Wayneable No unfortunately not.

  • @HardwareCanucks are you sure? in a different review it showed a thin screen on the inside of the mesh of the side panel

  • @HardwareCanucks Are you sure there isn't a dust filter on the side fan? Or was that just the first version?

  • @HardwareCanucks The side grill is a dust filter, it's just not removable. You can clean it with a wet cloth. There are filters everywhere except the back and on the PSU. The back doesn't need a filter unless you use something like a H50 Water Cooler. No Filter on the PSU is what I'm worried about because I had a PSU brake due to dust.

  • @HardwareCanucks Would you say the windowed version is ventilated enough since it doesn't have a side fan??

  • @0peppers no the windowed version is just for asthetics i had it and it broke easily i still recomend it and i blame myself for breaking it.

  • @MrNightwings74 I was asking if it would get enough ventilation without a side fan. Frankly I would go for the side fan but I have yet to find a case that has a dust filter for the side fan. That is my main concern.

  • @0peppers there is one that has it. It's the Antec 900 two.

  • @MrNightwings74 Thanks for your help.

  • @MrNightwings74 I was looking at this case on newegg and am seriously considering getting it, but I read that there is something wrong with the top 5.25 in. bay (if you have a drive occupying it then you will have issues with your computer turning off and on when you touch something, like the knob to regulate the fan speed). Have you had these issues? I read it's easily avoided, just don't use the top bay, so I will probably still buy it. I'm just curious.

  • @TruZer0 I havent experienced any problems what so ever. I have my video up and you will clearly see that i have used the top bay i also turn the leds on. I really think that the people that experienced these problems didn't know how to properly connect all of the cables or they were lose. Don't worry about it you won't experience any issues what so ever, this is a must buy case its a beast. here is my link youtube.com/watch?v=opdEQbeiPJI

  • @TruZer0 Did you put your computer together yourself or did you have someone else (ibuypower, cyberpowerpc, a friend, etc) do it for you?

  • @HardwareCanucks Hello, I got a question I'm looking in to building my first sandy bridge computer using a i3 2100 and an amd 6870 with a 1400*900 samsung monitor and a 600 watts Corsair power supply and 1tb Western Digital Hard Drive and finally 4gb Patriot signature ram and a Asus motherboard , which is better in value Corsair or Cooler Master?

  • @jumpwaffles You'll get better looks and features with Cooler Master, while with Corsair, you'll get a more rugged, edgier look, with great customer support.

    You choose.

  • @TonysTactics What about Cooler Master support

  • @jumpwaffles I've had a Cooler Master case that has been damaged during delivery and when I called CM to rage, they apologized and replaced it quickly, understanding my situation.

So I like their service, will buy from them again, feeling secure they will take care of me in case something goes wrong.

  • @TonysTactics Hahahahha, "I called CM to rage" Best comment so far, hahahahahha you made my day !

  • @Wayneable The side panel mesh acts as a dust filter, thats why theres no window.

  • @Wayneable however. the mesh on the sidepanel will catch some dust

  • @Wayneable the mesh its self is the filter

  • i absolutely LOVE the look of this case and i wanna get it but, the left side panel for me looks really ugly. is it possible to just buy a separate window side panel and istall it?

  • can the PSU intake from underneath the case?

  • At 2:06 there is something inside the case for a few seconds what is it?

  • @YamiPoyo if you look at 3:07 thats is what what in it

  • Gay Color pencil

  • @isaac5909 I belive its a pen...

  • Cooler Master site says that the bottom fan could be 120mm or 140mm. Is this true, will 140mm snap into the same bracket as 120mm?

  • Do you recommend this case or the HAF 932 ?

  • I built my son a gaming PC using the Snipers kid brother the CM Storm Scout and that is also a great case. If I was going to use another mid tower case I would go for the Sniper but I am now looking for a full tower job. On my list I am choosing between the CM HAF X, CM Cosmos S or the Corsair Obsidian 800D. I can't separate them apart from the price with the 800D being around £60 dearer than the other two.

  • @Sparta2310

The (HardwareCanucks' review of) Corsair Obsidian 600T just came out, and despite being a "midtower" case looks pretty damn roomy (and awesome).

  • @UserNameForYeeTube - Yeah the Corsair 600T looks pretty amazing. I really want a black full tower case though as I have had a silver aluminium case for the past 2 years. The graphite is more gunmetal sort of colour.

  • @Sparta2310 The CM HAF X is currently the best full tower case on the market so go with that.

  • Great review and very nice middle tower.

Cooler Master is a great candidate to replace my V9 Thermaltake.

    So good.

  • this is a pretty solid case...but..its friggin ugly...

  • Hello! I wonder how I take out the dust filters from the case to clean them?

  • Dang I wish I got his case insteed of the LanCool K62

  • I want that pen!

  • You mean they're producing some of the COOLEST cases on the market. I mean, they are Cooler Master.

  • You have a nice manly pen, where can i buy one?

  • @wolfgoblin The man store

  • Awesome case, going to get it for my next build !

  • I liked the look of this case from amazon and tigerdirect, now I am highly planning on getting this case! thanks for the vid and putting my choice in stone!

  • This or the lancool k62??

  • This or the lancool k62????????????????

  • I own one and love every single bit of it!

  • Great review!!! It is the best review I have seen for this case here on youtube.

  • Man I am soo stuck on choosing between the Sniper and the Scout. I have lowered my list, kicking out NZXT Tempest's. What do you guys like better?

  • Sweeeeeeeet!

  • Great video, excellent review!!

just one thing..............WHAT´S WITH THE PINK PEN!!!!?????

    keeep it up man!

  • in both editions does the fan controller control all stock fans & is it the same with the LED button

  • Comment removed

  • This or the HAF922?

  • @groberti It came down to this and the HAF 922 for me too. I chose the Storm Sniper because my friend has a 922 and it is massive and heavy.

  • I just got myn without hte mouse pad, but I dont care its so F__KING cool :D

  • does it still come with the mouse pad?

  • How is the HANDLES on the cabinett? I saw on some stores that there were handles on this thing, but you didnt review that ! Please answer, i consider buying it.

  • This case looks ugly to me.

  • @k1llgor3 this case looks very good to me :D The HAF932 is ugly.

  • cant wait to see how the 600t compares to this

  • Very good review. thumbs up!

  • what's the song in the background called?

  • @slakey0207 Chocolate Rain by Tay Zonday

  • just bought one from newegg thanks for the great review.

  • Awesome Case!!

  • Cooler Master Storm Sniper Black Edition Video Review :)

  • this case is so awesome I just ordered one :)

  • isn't the blue window or dragon edition even nicer looking? I find it hard to choose.

  • Very nice review. It made me buy one...

  • Woa , Holy Shyt...

you did the wiring job so nice at the back xD

  • If i added another 120mm fan on the bottem, would it work with the fan controller?

  • fit a 5970?

  • I like this case, design and everything :D awesome

  • do you think sli gtx 260 would fit in this??? looks like not much room @ bottom with a power supply.

  • @Tomatoffxi it will fit, i have the case and am running 5870s X-Fire and have had no problems with space

  • *like* For the pink pen and a epic case.

  • omfg I want one so bad

  • the bad thing about this case is that after 3 months use, all the fans become too noisy that I cannot stand for it.

  • @silmusashi yah me too, i cant stand the noise

  • @silmusashi ho can they become too noisy?

  • @groberti: I don't recommend you buy and experiment by yourself but try to clean the fan every month to reduce the noise.

  • @silmusashi then which case should I buy?

  • @groberti: If you want to trade the noise for something else then I recommend cases that you can equip water cooling easily. Of course if you could effort for a liquid cooling system. If not then just buy this case but remember to clean the fans every month to reduce the noise.

  • @silmusashi Then I`ll buy this, I do not OC my CPU to 4.0GHz+ and my GPU to insane clocks :) So I do not need watercooling.

  • gooood review congratulation
