thanks for the info.. ive been playing with ir lighting both LED & halogen thats 12V with a 730nM filter the small light in my video test uses 72 leds @ 850 nM so you can still see the cherry red glow..not enough to worry the wildlife though..
Hi the camera used for this video was a Silent Witness HCD81 cctv camera, it has 18 infra-red led's built in to it, but to help the lighting I put a small 20 watt IR lamp up in the tree in the centre of the picture. you can see the light from this lamp shining in the tree at the end of the video, I recorded all these videos on a Mustek PVR H-140 mp4 player, the original recording was higher definition but I had to reduce some of the definition to fit it on youtube.
i love deer they are my favourite animals.where did you get the camara that films in the dark.

This looks a lovely woodland with very good setts,clear aswell with no vegetation.What startled the deer.
