I was actually rooting for Jeff, the comeback kid. It would have been even better if Jeff had won the whole thing but at least he got to redeem himself a little bit when he was complimented the guest judge in the last episode. And it was great seeing him at the end with everyone else.

I was rooting for Jeff too. This was the worst Top Chef finale. I don't like the two-part finale with five competing in the first part and three in the second. It was better when they only had two in the finale. If I had to pick a final three, it would have been Fabio, Jeff, and Carla. I hope Fabio wins the fan favorite. As for Hosea, there was just something wrong with him having the skills to prepare that damn lamb and letting Ariane struggle over it. That's just not a top chef in my book.

I'm so glad it came out in a way you can't stand. Hosea just beating Stefan is perfect. Makes it that much worse a loss for him.

this season began to suck when ariane was thrown under the bus by leah and the "winner", josea. the only person i wanted to succeed after that was carla, and she was let down by that wingnut casey. very dissapointed, i must say.

I love Hosea. :) I thoughts he was great.

But I liked Stefan for most of the season. It was just that he coasted so much over the past couple episodes that made me upset. He got by on bad dishes because he had won a bunch of challenges which I don't think is fair. Also, he did not seem very into the competition the last couple episodes - he basically said he didn't really care!

Stefan should have won, it was so clear from the beginning, Hossea shouldn't have been there anyway, he and Leah should have left before Jamie anyway, it was either Stefan or Carla, but no it's Hossea, I'll get over that later, congrats anyway I guess.

Stefan was oh so cocky through the whole season. It's easy to say "His food was better " when you only LOOK at it. Glad Hosea won, wish it had been Carla - just glad it wasn't Stefan.

Wow, I truely felt Stefan was lucky to be there. Thought he should have been gone when he over cooked the salmon. Instead, Leah had to pack her knives and go home. Carla should have had this in the bag. So sad she let Casey have so much influence.

Am not too disappointed in Hosea winning. Stefan did good also, even if it is hard to admit. Too bad we can't taste the food ourselves, then we would know how well the chefs really did.

Man that was one horrible finale.

First my girl Carla let herself get talked into doing different thigns by Casey which cost her big time.

Then Stefan kept getting the short straw.

And then of course Hosea somehow managed to beat two chef leagues better than him. Ugh

Displeased.

I agree, Stefan's dessert looked great, and chocolate is never going to be "dated" or "meh".

I knew Carla was going to be in trouble when Casey was her sous-chef. Casey has the body of a goddess, but she always manages to mess up everything.

Hosea wins? The only thing he is memorable for this season is making out with Leah. I don't think he deserved to win.

Sort of a dissapointing ending, but great recap. Can't wait for next season.

Well, that was a fun season, with Team Europe definitely being the most entertaining part. Sadly, the ending was a bit anticlimactic. Anyway, thank you both for all your recaps because it made the season even more fun.
