Oh, last quick tip. Don't charge smashes unless you're 100% positive he doesn't have a waft. If you get hit when charging a smash, moves do like 1.5x knockback (something like that, I don't remember the exact amount)... and I don't think the Waft needs any more of that, amirite? :P
At that point I knew I was going to lose so I was busy psyching myself for the next match. But in general I didn't have much optimism for this set, watching this I dont think I was playing at my best, but neither was afro so it doesnt matter.
Yeah, this is pretty much exactly how I tell people to play against MKs. Something you didn't use nearly enough of against Wario, Halberd, is your nair... that PoS absolutely wrecks us if you time it and use it right. To elaborate on what DMG said, use a lot of Upairs for camping, not fairs or dairs, as each of those is respectively punishable (fairs w/ pokes or dairs, and your dais with upairs [so don't do them]. GGs though, fun to watch.
Less Fair for approaching, less Upb overall, more tilts, more camping with Fair/Uair/Dair when you get a lead.
Basically, you don't have to be as aggressive/approach as much once you are in control and have a nice lead. Make Wario work hard to approach you and force him to capitalize on your defensive mistakes or gain nothing rather than your offensive mistakes.
I'll keep those in mind. I realized how much up B was hurting me too late unfortunately. He was just eating them up with Uairs/Fmashes/Farts. I feel like I wasnt playing as well as I did in our money match watching this though.
Epic spacing from Afro. Totally controlled the match. Fart ensures at least 1 free kill for Wario every match, lol.
