  • Speakers are close but look proportional to TV. Customer was given an option to place speakers in corners but refused it as he wanted to put some pictures in those areas. Couch was at 12' when TV was installed but customer wanted to buy new couch and place it a little closer. Subwoofer is in the corner and, yes, it does sound great for it's size. When watching TV picture and sound is great. Keep in mind, this is not a dedicated theater room. And customer didn't go over his budget for a job.

  • Customers has certain budgets, equipment they want to use, and certain amount of renovation to put into the room. Room does not have any sound deadening and customer didn't want it. Equipment is not Goldmund, Revel, Runco, and Black Diamond screen. Mainstream Samsung TV, some KEF speakers and receiver that came with speakers. With given budget and room size, this setup works great. Customer is very happy and sound is great.

  • lol but the room sounds like crap.... shit shit shit

  • That TV is small. Even the windows are bigger.

  • Don't know whether to look out the windows or watch tiny Plasma wtf ?

Is that an ac unit above the screen or a big center channel ...whoa !

  • I sounds like too much reverberation in that room. What about using some panels to cancel reverb?

  • my denon avr 391 is awesome and it rumbles and shakes my basement in my house

  • How do you put the lights to dim when pressing play? I've been trying that with my logitech 1100

  • The sub woofer is way too far away from the other speakers. That wouldn't sound right at all.

  • thats really nice for sure

  • you've done a great job setting everything up, but that room is waaaayyyy to big for a 64-incher/you have great equipment, just need a bigger TV for that room/we have a 60 in our family room, and it's much smaller than the room above, we have a 73-incher in the movie-room that is also smaller than your room above/i know you can get too big a TV for a small-medium room, but ours are perfect so i know you can size-up! also agree with prev comment @ L/R speakers way too close/either way, enjoy!!

  • Where are the power codes and wires?

  • it is fine to keep the AC above the LCD tv

  • great looking install!! front speakers are where they had to be to be mounted on the wall. The rears are crazy but i could imagine the do work well. How did you get the icons so big on the pc???? did you use windows 7???

  • Yea yea! Awesome system and brands but you room acoustics suck ass!!

  • dude,

can I give you an idea

paint that wall all black with super white semi gloss on baseboard and trims

you will have the heck of a view. trust me!

  • can you show us of what it looks like now? or are you still in the project of getting other furniture

  • I would not put an air conditioning unit above a good tv, i known loads of units to leak!

  • Front L+R speakers are waaaay too close together !

  • You need a 80" :)

  • The couch is about 12' -13' from TV. Perfect viewing distance for 64" Plasma TV. Furniture will be replaced and couch might even be closer to TV.

  • @vsandvs for a recommended THX viewing angle of 36 degrees, for that size tv, the couch should be about 7.2 feet away from the tv. My projector screen is about 10 feet from my couch, and it is a 97". Those left and right speakers, are too close, since in their current location, the audio would sound like it is coming from in front of the viewer.

  • @vsandvs yeah, right now it's much too far away if you don't want to watch tv with 40 people at once

  • That couch is too far from the TV!

  • Sound quality is really bad. Can hardly recognize what i'm talking about in the video. Sorry. Best I could've done. I use my little picture camera and it has no connection for external microphone. Standing too far but I wanted to get whole room into picture.

  • @vsandvs you could use a laptop or sth else as an additional source for audio and then mux it

  • poor vid mate...carnt hear you and carnt see the set up
