@jaydaintith Err, no. Not directly. No power = no play. In case of equipment failure though you can connect an external hydraulic pump to a pipe and raise it using external power. Not something you'd do in a hurry, but if you knew someone with a tractor.....

@PlebScrubber Take a digger with a big bucket, and repeatedly hit it hard on the top of the metal panels ! They had intended to pull them out as they poured the concrete, but didn't for some reason, eventually cutting them off flush. Yes they might rust but they are a) very thick and b) non structural now concrete is set.

@MrBarrelomonkeys It's not a `Supercar` but it's still pretty cool. It still looks great on the road today, and mine was 29 last week !

If you look "AXI 1697" on Wikipedia, you'll see it was about one of the last few made, with a lot of the problems sorted, plus mine has no cat converter and a UK spec higher power engine. It's really `not too shabby`.

Drive one into a pub car park in summer, spring the doors open and see the reaction! Then later drive out again with the doors still open :-)

Spoiled for having a De Lorean? Don't people aspire to own anything BUT a Delorean? It's about as lowly as a Prius, or so I thought. As for the rarity of it, yeah, one of three, I've had lots of rare cars in my life, the more comparable ones being my Superior was one of two (The other never left the showroom) and I used to own a Convertible Continental Town Coupe which was one of twelve. Either of those was in basically every way superior to a De Lorean. Aside from Time Travel, I guess.
