nvm found out y i had like 6 or 7 mods that screwed with the mpq so i had to redownload starcraft, but thx for the vid :D

my old computer stopped working so idk if u remember me, but how do i get scmdraft to work when i open it something pops up and says "The procedure entry point RichEdit10ANSIWndProc could not be located in the dynamic link library RICHED20.dll." and another "Fatal Error: Failed loading primary MPQ (C:\Users\Bill\Desktop\starcra­ft\stardat.mpq)

try to reinstall starcraft,

and then when opening scmdraft

modify the default profile or make a new one.

click on "used MPQ-path"

and paste the adress of you original mpq files.

Whenever i try to load my old file it keeps saying the "something bad happened" and that i need to make a seperat file but i already did but it still keeps doing that. What should i do plz answer me.

now okay, to solve it is easy :)

instead of using the shortcut to smdraft:

->right click on a map

->open with...

->choose smdraft.exe

->program opens

-> make new map

should work.

If you're talking about SCMdraft, you can place it ANYWHERE you want... and if you're talking about the map you just did, you SHOULD place it somewhere in the MAPS folder which is in your Starcraft folder, wherever you have it installed.

easy..just go to triggers....Under the ACTION tab..press new and look for something called RUN AL SCRIPT AT LOCATION...click script and scroll down and find the shared vision thing...Hint : use the satelite things for vision and then turn that vision off for which ever satelites belong to

Hey SnoopyReloaded. Great video. I have one question, my "Triggers" tab is messed up. It only shows classic triggers and classic mission obectives. It doesn't show trigger editor or mission briefing editor. Any Help?

Hmm well make sure you have an updated version, because that should come with the Editor by default, unless they changed it xD

I have a new probleme : i can't save my map for Starcraft because they say Brood War unit in use at (199,204)

Brood War unit in use at (246,203)

but at 199,204 and 246,203 there is no unit !

You are going to need someone else to do it for you, someone that has Brood War.

How did you saved it? o.o as a .scm or a .scx

If you saved it as a .scx then it's for BroodWar if you saved it as a .scm it's for starcraft.

hmm if you don't have Starcraft: Brood war this will happen, also some Sprites are buggy or won't show up in Starcraft, but yes in SCMdraft, so beware of that. and about the new version, ask the guys of stormcoast fortress xD. and by won't play, you mean it crashes or you can't find it in starcraft? or something'? o.o

for both, but you must have both or only Plain starcraft but u get some errors if you only have plain, so i recommend you to have both SCs

You got Starcraft: brood war?, cause if you don't that is the problem, you can use ScmDraft normally, but u can expect some crashes, because it doesn't have all units and if you select a brood war units you are going to get some error messages so, be careful.
