i liked you video but dont you think its too much products applying on the skin i mean i also use wipes and make up remover gel and Clean Clear scrub twice aweek and i use loreal moisterizer after cleanig and i also use the loreal at day becouse its SPF15 and thats it.
Oh my goodness! If you would like the most amazing skin care you have to have Aloette! Its a full 8pcs skin care, all Aloe Vera based! Cleanser, toner, scrub, anti-aging, moisturizer, makeup remouver, and eye gel for $157! And this will last you about a year! I have been using it (and sell it) and my face is just so so so healthy now!(I never ever use to have a skin care routine). I highly recomed trying it! I can definatly hook you up!
Can you please make hair tutorial about how to do this kind of hairstyle with difuzor? My hair are like your's, but I think I don't know how to use difuzor correctly to get this kind of beautiful look :( please help me luxy sisters:) xoxo
@Nukanyc you dont exactly need a difuzor, all you can do to get this look is right after you shower, make sure your hair is damp not dripping wet, and add some moose all over your hair, run you're fingers through your hair to detangle and seperate the curls add some hairspray if you want and just blow dry real quick around the whole head about 6-8 inches away from the hair. and there you go :)
Leyla, Have you ever tried the Norwax cleansing cloths for the face? I have been using these now for the past 6 years. They are just a micro fibre wash cloth and it takes EVERYTHING off does a great job with eye makeup (and I wear alot of eye makeup) Recently, I just discovered their new face cloths, even softer and removes even better! They were $20.00 for a set of three. Just wet them with water take your make up off and then rinse them out in soap and water...simply amazing! I LOVE them!
Quick Tip! I've recently been looking into natural, effective, chemical-free products and I learned that petroleum jelly (aka Vaseline) dries out your skin in the long run. It ruins your skin's natural oil production in the area where you apply it. It's best to use un-petrolum jelly (Alba has it. I found it in Whole Foods) :]
Your skin looks very.. healthy lol. I was just wondering, did you ever have bad skin at one point or was it always very clear. For me, my skin has always been bad, oily & break outs .. but whats worse is the scars. Alot of peoples skincare ruitines fail for me, i have yet to find one that even works. I was wondering if you know anything that actually takes away acne, & scaring.
Hi, Just thought you should know (maybe you already know), Almond oil works great for make up removal, a little tough to get out all your eye make up usually, mostly just eyeliners but its so much better and healthier for your skin. :)
I LOVE your interior design! I was wondering if you could a video on that? Like a room tour or design ideas? I LOVE the color schemes both you girls have.
@mmg378 i agree! because i'm thinking of doing a lil' at home project(part of my new year's resolution) while my mom and grandma are away at the Philippines and i'm thinking of redecorating my room. so please please do a room tour or anything. much love!
So I was just curious to if you actually wear liquid foundation (I believe you use Revlon Photo Ready) every single day? If not, then how often would you say?
Hi Leyla! Can you also post the things that you use? like name them on the info? there was one thing that i wanted to know but i want to know how it's written because they're not familiar to me. I want to try some things you showed because i have the same type of skin.. >_<
you have beautiful skin. i used to use apricot scrub. my aunt is an esthetician and she switched me to glymed sal x exfoliating cleanser. it has vitamin c that is really good for your skin. here's a link. look it up and go to the glymed site, you should give it a try :)
I googled the Michael Kors watch you have on but it doesnt look like the same one I saw on a website can you tell me where you purchased it from pretty pleeeasee? Thnx =)
Hi Leyla you should try the quo wipes. I have the same skin type they work really well. I have tried the Marcelle but they dry out quickly. The neutogena ones are great too. A really good eye cream and overall skin care is from caryl baker from visage counters here in Canada. They have stores in most malls here. Its wonderful i have sensitive under eyes as well. I love the garneir eye roller the tinted one is great. Love your videos you guys
Macademia Nut Hair Mask: Hey Leyla, I was at Homesense and I was looking at their skincare products and I found that Macademia Nut Hair Mask you talked about in one of your videos. You said you wanted us to tell you if we saw where you could purchase it. The only problem is that they don't always get the same products every time, but it's worth a try. Try Winners too, since it's the same company, and I find they carry some of the same products. Anyway I hope you find it, love you!!!!
Actually, drinking too much water can kill you. It throws off your body's electrolyte balance. Though you have to drink waaay more than a normal person would drink. Google 'water intoxication.'
Hey Leyla, I love the Clinique Dramatically Different Gel moisturizer ----BUT you should give Clinique Moisture Surge a try! I have combination (oily T-zone, but dry everywhere else) and Moisture surge really works for me. I have been using it for six weeks and still loving it. I use it morning and night, I also put it on my lips for hydrations and I love it!
Just saw this and realized I'm wearing the exact same top as you. Forever21, yes? I was wondering how you tame the frizz with your hair like that. I have the same type of hair, and I can never wear it like that (even when I use a diffuser), because it gets so frizzy. What can I do to tame it down?
Do you dye your eyebrows lighter? They look amazing! Do you do it yourself or do you get it done? If so, let me know how or where! I live in Toronto. Thanks!! xo
do you think that you could do a hair product routine on the products you use for your curly hair? I currently am just using Moroccan Oil... Do you recommend and serums, or hair sprays? flat irons etc?
when i was in school for esthetics i was taught that st ives is the most popular exfoliant in canada because the beads are big and abrasive and people like that tight clean shiny look. its great for your body but tooo abrasive for your face its ideal to have very fine grain , but whatever works for you just thought you might wana know :)
thanks for your vid, I think i'll give the clinque a try, i'm still searching for a nice lotion i like, if you prefer more natural products you might want to give -Burt's Bees Deep Cleansing Cream Soap Bark & Chamomile- a try, it runs for $10 US dollars, a it works great!
you should take off all of your makeup before you cleanse ALWAYS otherwise you are putting makeup gunk into your pores! I love the dove foaming makeup remover, just do a pump of the foam right into your palm and rub it onto your face while you're jumping into the shower. I had such terrible skin and this step cleared up any blemishes i had, then cleanse, tone (witch hazel is best) and then moisturize :)
hey Leyla, please do a tutorial, (from washing to styling) your hair that way... i have almost the exact type of hair as you, but i can never get mine to not frizz up (fly aways and so forth)... please, please, please, please.... thanks a ton.
For some reasons... I really like this video. The video itself, the quality, the background... IDK I just really like it. :) Btw, I love your hair. You look really pretty.
I have normal to dry skin and love Laura mercier's hydrating make up primer. It's amazing! Also a good make up remover is the neutrogina makeup remover wipes, they take off everything even my mascara. You give me such great advice, so those are my favorite two products that I can't live without. Give them a try :)
1. I thought skin moisturizing lotions was not for the face :s ....like we're supposed to use different moisturizing lotions for the face ....because i think relugar moisturizing lotion will affect after you put your make up on
2.whats the difference between hand cream and body moisturizer?
@chally92 1. thats natural hair . .. 2. whats wrong with latino? her hair has LIFE on its own without the need of any special products ..and its shiny.. so yeah thats Latino?! AMEN TO US! 3. not every latina is a chola.
You're not alone with this multi-step cleaning routine! Lately, i've gotten into this type of cleaning as well and i def see better results..i recommend you to try the Shu Uemura cleansing oil if you're into deep cleaning...yes, it's weird to use oil but it really works and feels like heaven! After tough, i still use the Neutragena stuff bc i like to have really non-oily skin..during winter i didn't because i wanted to have a moist skin..give it a try!
I always think how unfair it is to see people with beautiful straight hair. My hair is exactly like yours. I straighten my hair everyday. You're so beautiful and to see that you can be just as beautiful with your curly hair has open my eyes to real beauty. It just meant the world to me to see you with your natural hair.
i love how you use drugstore products. your skin is gorgeous! now i really want to try the bobbi brown eye cream, i've heard so much about it! you just convinced me, hehehe :)
St.Ives face scrub is actually very harsh and creates micro "cuts" and demages cells on your skin over the time. You should be using some kind of chemical peel instead of mechanical - try Neostrata or Dermalogica for getting rid of dead skin cells. Your skin will be grateful :)
In the States, we can get the Yes products in our Target stores, and I'm sure others also. Thank you so much for your recommendations. You are just lovely. I would still like to see a tour of your home. Both you and your sister have done an amazing job decorating! Have a great day.
WoW I loveeee your hair it looks so cool could you please let us know what you used to let it look like this or please do a tutorial on this hairstyle! :D and btw you're looking gorgeous!!
I absolutely love the Yes To line! I have all 3 moisturizers and Yes to Cucumbers is my favorite so far! You should try it out. Also, do you use a toner before you moisturize? My skin is always tight after cleansing, so I use witch hazel which is amazing. It makes my skin soft, untightens it and cools it. Love your natural hair as well! Does your hair look bigger without a diffuser? My friend has hair a lot like yours, but she doesn't blow dry it and uses the herbal essences mousse
I also would get red irritation around my nose as well, and that has since disappeared with not using moisturizer. But you have to be able to deal with the dryness and tight feeling for a few days. It wasn't fun. But the tightness went away. it really helped and now I am not reliant on moisurizers or creams, or even exfoliants. And my skin is not perfect, its rather sensitive to everything.
I used to have the same problem with my skin feeling so tight and dry that it burned, and I couldn't move it, ages 15 to 20. And even using the moisturizer didn't help. I tried high end, facials, masks, nothing worked. What worked is just basically not using moisturizer. after a few days, that layer of skin peeled . That is how I got rid of mine. Now I use aveeno foaming face wash and my skin is very soft.
hey! can you do a list of what you are wearing in the info boxes? that would be so wonderful. like what blush or eyeshadow or top you are wearing. i really would like to know where you got your top from!!
HEY LEYLA AND MIMI! ITS JESSICA FROM GUESS YORKDALE AGAIN..SORRY FOR BEING TOO RANDOM YESTERDAY BUT OMG YOU GUYZ LOOK GORGEOUS IN REAL LIFE..I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT ..SO DID U GUYZ FIND ANY DRESSES AT MARCIANO??? ;P

St.Ives face scrub is actually very harsh and creates micro "cuts" and demages cells on your skin over the time. You should be using some kind of chemical peel instead of mechanical - try Neostrata or Dermalogica for getting rid of dead skin cells. Your skin will be grateful :)

@smashingpapayas actually drinking a good amount of water flushes out your urinary system so you don't get bladder infections

In the States, we can get the Yes products in our Target stores, and I'm sure others also. Thank you so much for your recommendations. You are just lovely. I would still like to see a tour of your home. Both you and your sister have done an amazing job decorating! Have a great day.

LuluLucy1111 11 months ago
@LuluLucy1111 Yes, i found a small section in some of my Shoppers Drug Marts.
They are usually at the end of the aisles and they have yes to tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and blueberries.
Go to the bigger SDM.

DaNitheG1rL 11 months ago
I used to have the same problem with my skin feeling so tight and dry that it burned, and I couldn't move it, ages 15 to 20. And even using the moisturizer didn't help. I tried high end, facials, masks, nothing worked. What worked is just basically not using moisturizer. after a few days, that layer of skin peeled . That is how I got rid of mine. Now I use aveeno foaming face wash and my skin is very soft.

this is really random and irrelevant but I love your wall colour =]
do you happen to know the name? if not, it's fine =p
try Burt's Bees eye cream =]
or if you're looking for any natural products, there's a great store
in downtown Toronto, called The Big Carrot, they have a ton of
natural skincare products and makeup =]
