Hitler did not want a single world government, this is 100% documented. He DID envision Nazi Germany as dominant power of the globe to which ALL other nations would defer to - except Britain if they had accepted his numerous pleas for peace - but he himself said many times that he had no interest in ruling a vast overseas empire.
However, his reasoning was more racism than anything else as ruling such an empire would require Germans to settle foreign lands, potentially leading to race mixing.

We already have a nascent form of world government. Various organisations like : Meteorological Office; Interpol; United Nations; Air Traffic Control; Shipping; etc. The universe is interconnected. We all having varying degrees of dependence, independence and interdependence. No-one is an island although we are all sovereign beings. Small children when asked will say that they wish for a world of peace. Calcified, traumatised adults become experts at learning how to destroy another.
