read the description... "arguably the deepest squatter"!?!?!? are you fucking kidding me. that wasnt deep. matter of fact, powerlifting has gone to hell in the last twenty years. nobody ever breaks parallel, nobody ever pauses on the bench. its gotten ridiculous. When I saw this trend occurring (along with the ridiculous bench shirts nowadays), I gave up competing. powerlifting has turned into a disgrace!
@zrx7769 Well maybe this organization does not, look at USAPL numbers may not be so high because only allowed singly ply suits and we have to break parallel. go watch some of my vids maybe you will change your mind. i may not be the deepest squater. but i do break parallel.
@zrx7769 Agreed. About the only respectable organizations now a days are like USPF, USAPL, and IPF. Those are about the only federations where there is no controversy on depth and pausing.
@reshos123 I know Matt irl (we're friends; used to work together where he repairs computers) and even if you said that to his face, honestly he would just shrug. He's about the most calm and quiet power lifter I've ever met.
I still say questionable on depth, I watched it four times. Sorry.. but I remember getting my rear redlighted on depth a hundred times for the same form.
@LRGHMN last time i compete was high school, shw class... i weighed 375 and squated 800. I am about 6'4 and i remember depth being a pretty big damn deal. Hip joint breaking parrell of knee. Thats the rule right?

if you wanna watch real squats, just search for Ed Coan, and of course Kirk Karwoski
