I have supported IRC for years; however I just discovered that Henry Kissinger, the author of the 200 pg "National Security Study Memorandum 200" which called for a massive population reduction of 13 key third world nations, is a chairman on the board for the IRC. I know that there are many genuinely good people working for the IRC, but I think that it is important for you to google that study before you allocate money to the IRC.

i googled it, but i'm not sure i understand. What harm is it doing? i mean, they seem to be trying to reduce population by doing things like promoting contraception, right? isnt that good?

Thank you for your reply, actually not in the way that they are doing it.  These guys are always talking the things that are such a danger to the planet, but are often the biggest abusers of the things that they pretend to defend. Why is it that those 13 countries are a treat to the security of the US? The document is just more eugenics rhetoric. Why can't we come up with better solutions to deal with world hunger, like teach/help them develop so that they can feed themselves?

IRC isnt just doing that...its a refugee organization that helps resettle refugee and advocate for their health, life basically..i interned at IRC in MD one semester,,,I totally loved it. as a public health advocate
