  • I am a guitarist, and i lvoe fingerstyle, but i can't imagine this song without organ and vocal....

  • So Bobby, when you're not cooking in the kitchen, you're cookin' on the guitar. Great cover. What's your guitar? And where are you sitting and what's that behind you? Just curious.

  • @tremoloheart Ha! Guitar is a Maton EM225C. I was sitting in my backyard under a pergola - in the background was so plants and lattice. Thanks!

    JAW

  • Really well done, great tempo...just such a beautiful melody ... and you did it justice nicely.

  • Ur a Master ... and i play guitar since 5 years and i can say that i have talent .. but dude u rock

  • @francis9888 Thanks man. Fingerstyle is a bit different to "normal" guitar styles, playing melody and bass and rhythm all at the same time. Other guitarists watch with interest at how it's done, but like with any guitar style there is no trick, just practice practice practice :) Glad you like my stuff, give some of it a try!

    JAW

  • What do you use to record your videos?

    great tabs btw. I've been on and off your website for years and learnt half those songs. I may donate if I get a responce to my question :D

  • amazing, im loving it, you are such a great player, ive downloaded a few of the tabs and ive learnt them, and im so happy to be able to play some peices you performed, wish i could donate, id donate millions if i could

  • I'm glad to hear the tabs are working out for you. No probs about donation; putting up tabs for free is my "giving back to the internet" - I've used plenty of tabs by others, it's good to return the favour, and to hear that people are enjoying them!

    Thanks,

    JAW

  • your tabs are truely amazing, and when i can ill be sure to give a donation, might not be for a long time but when i can ill be sure to do it, you and your tabs are worth every single penny

  • I love it

    lot of time to see it

    go go fighting ^^~

  • igot the music. well worth the 10.00 i donated.

  • Thanks! Not many people donate, but when they do I'm far more likely to help them out - message me if you have any questions!

    JAW

  • All I can say is WOW... You're really good. I'm gona go back try this on my guitar... Hope I can at least play the first line...

  • You´re one of the best guitar players i have ever seen on youtube, keep doing this job, because it´s very useful for beginners guitarists like me...and it must be very pleasent for you to play and show to the world your talent....thanks mate!

  • Thanks! Working on any of my tabs? Get a video up on youtube, it is good for you, for many reasons ;)

    JAW

  • What are you using on the ends of your fingers?

    What brand?

    BTW I really like your playing

  • i created an account just so i could say your awesome :P just bought myself a guitar a couple of days ago with the intent to self teach and now thanks to you i got a few songs to work up to!

    Especially love the Pachelbel Canon in D!

    keep the vids coming! :)

    have a good one!

  • Thanks! Start with simple stuff, get a few lessons to begin with to make sure you get the basic techniques right, persist and practise - playing the guitar is not easy - but most of all enjoy yourself :)

    JAW

  • why do you answer with a copied text? :S not really nice

  • Two people asked me almost the same question at the same time...forgive me for not making the response unique...maybe I should add the response to my FAQ?

    JAW

  • u look like HHH the game

  • i think he looks like adam sessler a little, and my dad thinks he looks like one of the characters from the show "the shield." guess he's a master of disguise, lol.

  • awesome ;!

  • Nice job, want to go to Puerto Rico? lol

  • Playing 30 years? I have to empathise. I too have played decades and should be a virtuoso by now. Only in the last year or so has my playing started to improve, likewise because of Open spirits such as yourself willing to share and teach their talents. Thanks Aussie!

  • I'm sure if we had been playing for a living for 30 years we'd be virtuosos by now. It was only in my early to mid 30's that I was mature enough to _really_ appreciate the guitar - the first 25 years I was just mucking around ;)

    JAW

  • im still in the mucking around stage, lol. mainly because i can't remember enough of a song off the top of my head to play it all at once. i think i have A.D.D.

  • Muito bom o estilo e a musica fenomeno!!! Juliano by Brazil

  • very nice jawmunji

  • hey JAW!! very nice playing!! u have a wonderfull taste!

    p.s.

    i am wondering, what guitar is this?

  • Incredible work! I'd cut off a left ankle to be able to play like this!

  • mine right

  • good stuff man, inspirational!

  • After watching this

    I'm surely I have to watch all you videos!

  • Love your playing and your arrangements. Thank you so much for sharing the tablature. I've been playing 25 years and am learning a lot from you! How about some classic tv themes (MASH would be great!)

  • Thanks! I've been playing for 30 years and I only in the last 3 years learnt how to play like this - from watching other people on youtube...so I'm glad I am able to return the favour.

    UncleParsnip does a great MASH theme and he has the tabs - do a search for him.

    JAW

  • I've playing for a couple of years and learning from people on youtube. Do you share your tabs? Where can I get them?

    Thanks for the great arrangements and good luck.

  • Look at the video description. Tabs are availabe thanks to the generosity of jawmunji. :D

  • bobby,

    I love your cooking show. I didn't know you played the guitar too! and very nice I must sday..

  • Hi Jaw, got a quick question I've been practicing this for a while now and I've been trying to do the chords the traditional way but it seems alot harder to play. What I mean is, I notice that you play the A chord with one finger barring the 3 strings, instead of using 3 fingers. Anyways the way you are playing it makes it easier to move from chord to chord, but I'm wondering is this a habit I shouldn't be picking up or is it ok to improvise in such a way, thanks.

  • Good question! If you asked me 15 years ago I would have said tsk, tsk, that would be picking up bad habits. That's my classical background speaking.

    I've mellowed a lot over the years and now it is more of a case "if it is easier, and it is comfortable, do it" which is why you'll see one finger barring just a few strings, see the thumb coming over onto the bass string, etc.

    So got for it - as long as it works for you and doesn't hurt (short and long term).

    Enjoy yourself!

    ~~~~JAW
  • Btw, also wanna thank you for having the courtesy to help out aspiring guitarists and put up the tabs, there's a lot of selfish guys on youtube who don't bother and just wanna show off like they created the song. Thanks again man and keep up the good work!
  • Glad I could help out! I agree, everyone should put up tabs when they upload a video, would make my life a lot easier ;) ~~~~JAW
  • I've been playing the guitar for almost two years now and I really hope that one day I can play this well. Listening to you play put a smile on my face, thank you.
  • Love it!
  • TRY NAUDOPDR also...its good
  • try NAUDO also..its good
  • You should put up an mp3 on your website.
  • so nice!! i love it~~
    best wishes
    jeese
  • Well Done. I think you are the first to tackle a Naudo arrangement. Keep posting. By the way I really enjoyed the Michael Chapdelaine Calif. Dreaming you tabbed out. It took me awhile and I still have some trouble with the High E string bends, but thank you very much for sharing.
  • I've done 3 and a half Naudo tabs so far and it has given me an insight into his fantastic style which I am now adopting to my own arrangements. He is The Maestro!
  • Beautiful playing !
    Thanks Jaw for sharing !
    best regards,
    wolfgang
  • Tab page doesn´t work please fix it
  • Great playing. Your tab site does not seem to work. It would be great to see your work. Thanks to Naudo. Played very well
    Bill
  • like we say here in spain: OLE!!!!
  • Very nice, well played! This is definately on the "to learn list" for me.
  • I think you did fine on this. I found nothing to criticize. Great job. I did a version of this a few years back but it doesn't come close to yours. Now I have your version to emulate --- or Naudo's ;)
  • your stuff is excellent ...can you play "going to california" by led zep its a cool acoustic number and i know you could pull it off.. let me know ..Jamie fae Scotland
  • excellent technique!~
  • really sounds nice!
  • sounds s beautiful~~
  • Hi from Canada,sounds awesome. What type of guitar is that..looks and sounds beautiful.
  • Can you please make a tab for this one too? Good playing by the way.
  • My goodness, I only just uploaded it, haven't entered a description and you're already all over it! ;)
    Tabs in the usual place - check the video description.
  • Thank you :)
  • hey awsome! naudo's version?
    Are those fake nails of real?
    Walter
  • Yep, Naudos version.
    Real nails. They aren't very long (they don't last long on steel as you can guess) I think it was the sun catching them that made them look longer than they actually are (about 4mm on fingers and 5mm on thumb).
    I went into one those girly nail shops after I broke a nail a few months back (sob) - to get some acrylics put on, but I chickened out at the last minute ;)
  • awesome playing pal...as always ;-)
