The point is evangelical christians always back up the republicans. It's a matter of political allegiances, Republican policies are far from the teachings of Jesus. haha, how can you not? I mean you watch one podcast and they are just so funny! But actually my fave thing about BG is their hearts. Their hearts and how real they are with people. They're the same on and off stage and that says a LOT! Have you ever read the book they wrote "More than music"? It's an amazing book! Very encouraging and again, it just shows how real they are and their hearts of gold...it actually was so good it made me cry..and not much makes me cry:)

of course you need to pray for me, everytime someone says something that is not accepted by the modern day church or church culture they need to "be prayed for". Yes Jesus has an angry side, but my point is Jesus outlined both social and moral concerns, what pisses me of is how christians ignore the social aspect of the gospel and only address the moral side. I am not a democrat, i'm not a republican. I agree morally with the republicans and socially with the democrats.

The problem here is how evangelicals cling to the republicans as if they represent christianity and not the democrats. It gives non-christians a very unbalanced and twisted view of christianity. All i'm doing here is challenging people to think for themselves and not simply be mindless followers within the church culture and do things that are "the christian things to do"
