Very beautifully played, but I don't like the arrangement. Specifically, I don't like the way the arrangement puts the verse melody into rather unimaginative parallel thirds that aren't in the original. Also, it messes with the rhythm of the melody in the 'All the lonely people' bit.

Well done, really nicely played. You were a bit brave although correct in not crediting John Lennon for this piece, this was a Paul tune as were the majority of the classics. In Johns own words Why is it that its always Pauls tunes that people want to cover!! Not taking anything away from John as he was one hell of a song writer !!

it doesn't take that much courage - in fact Paul McCarney, rather than the Beatles, was awarded a grammy for this song in 1966 - for best contemprary Solo performance
