how do you get all four video files to be displayed on the screen and playing at the same time. My dvr exports each camera seperate,

@Simard76 you can export individual video or all 4 videos on one screen at the same time. This surveillance system supports both export methods.

@cricketgd I think that line got a little distorted during the video conversion process. I am not 100% sure. I am not familiar with a 3 way RCA to BNC converter though we do have one RCA to BNC.

It is sad that we need to have cameras up. I just recently installed a home surveillance system myself with 4 cameras after my wife's car was broken into.

I noticed that the camera for the doorway is a bit high and points down. This can be a problem if the person wears a hat or never looks up. But then again, if it's too low, then they'll see the camera and it won't be hidden.

I had the same issue and solved it by installing an intercom box that is by the front door at about 5' 6" high. I took a small weatherproof camera and modified the box to accept the camera and used a small piece of plexi glass with 2 way mirror tint so the camera is not visible.

No one knows that there is a camera in there.
