At last I see something, what is not about Robinhood, England, France, or romans, 90% of the medieval/ancient movies are just about them and this is just retarded. not just England, France and romans existed in the history, more advanced nations are existed.

@TamDiabolo though this particular language turns out to be italian. A country that also, as spaniards and germans and a lot of other nations turns out to dub imported movies. Not to talk about english and americans, who dont even dub but makes a complete remake just for the sake of having american actors in it such at Let the right one in. So complaining about other nations dubbing is kinda hypocrytical. But thanks for trying:)!
@SquareCrystal I like how you accuse Americans of being "dumb" in your broken English. It amazes me how highly European trash think of themselves, yet aren't even capable of completing a basic sentence. Try getting an education before judging others, you fucking loser.
rest of world used to be developed nations. example Rome, Japan, China, even Afganistan, India ,Ceylon, Persia these all were once great nations now in almost 3rd world. except Japan and Rome. don't u u will hold the "best country" position forever. there will be one day the America will fall down. then it will be one of history lessons.
@KeithBrown51 Lol, fail. Your country (the u.s) is put together by different people from around the world, and they brought the technology with them. Don't forget that the native Americans were there before everybody else. I don't remember them having any steam engines or anything like that before America were discovered nor anything else that Europe already had.
@SquareCrystal Basically, it's true although I don't generalize things but I spent there almost a year and I was amazed to see so many people with such a superficial and stupid opinions and the way of thinking...
@SquareCrystal Wow and how much of your daily news covers the culture of every other country in the world? It doesn't. Your superiority complex is uncalled for.
@SquareCrystal Dude, there are thousands of countries, I'm just talking about the powers, who's stupid now ohhh. I'm kidding. Neither one of us is stupid and we all know about our world's history. Just please don't rely on stereotypes as many of them are untrue.
@LurkSAR hee hee... well, i didnt understand a word they were saying but i'm guessing it was the title barbarossa that led you to this? barbarossa was name of the operation given to the invasion of soviet union by hitler.
@Praventore totally agree.. and it helps if they're naked w the sun upon them and cold water running down their.... i need to go and do something secret now.. [now... where's the 'lonely man' hand lotion?]
I honestly hope all the Barbossa references are ironic because I can not believe someone can be that fucking dumb and uneducated not to know who Frederick Barbafuckingrossa was -. -
this film liked so much to our ex-Berlusconi-goverment here in Italy, as part of it was this extreme right-wing party which promoted xenophobia and racist, some kind of an absurd independence of the north-italy from the south.
@rubixx26 Absurd was the conquest of Central and Southern Italy by those mother fuckers Piedmontese Kings know as Savoy and their puppet Garibaldi... this was to go against both the interests of Southern Italy (which was a free kingdom...) and Northern Italy (which today is simply blaming Garibaldi and his fellows who decided arbitrarly to get someone other's land without any form of democracy founding their requests upon an ancient unity dating back to the Roman republic 1400 years before. )
@AlexSDU Ok let´s see this..Brest, if my memory is good, was a very disavantageous spike in the border line between Germany and USSR. This spike at Brest was set to make a strong geographical position for the invasion of USSR on Western Europe which was supposed to start way after in 1942..But because the Wehrmarcht took USSR by surprise 1 year earlier, a lot of soviet divisions has been encircled at Brest and quickly destroyed.
Actually, they managed to hold the fortress more that 3 months, if my memory serve me well. All that while being behind enemy line, without any reinforcement.
@AlexSDU 3 months ?? you sure it is not 3 weeks maybe ...? I am surprised, so they resisted until end of September, Germans was already after Smolensk ! I have to watch this movie :)
My mistake. It was not 3 months but until the end of July 1941.
The fortress was declared(by the German) taken on the 30th June, but there was still some pocket of resistance that still survived and continued fighting until the end of July.
Such a disappointment. Rutger Hauer is great as usual, but he cannot save this film from bad directing and crappy acting. Did I mention that its hard to work out who the story is actually about....?
@grailchaser Well, did you see the movie or do you just mean the trailer? I for one didnt understand one word of it. However, Barbarossa was a cool guy. Couldnt read or write though, but how he handed the italians their shit back was badass. ;)
