this movie is a striaght modern comedy classic... 1999.. you know.. the last really GOOD ERA for movies and music! AND ENTERTAINMENT AT LARGE... even the sequel to this was a super flop!... dosen't compare... same thing with dumb and dumber... 1994 original is an all-time classic... the 00's sequel was totall garbage...nothing like jim carrey or jeff daniels.. what an insult.. how many more modern remakes and sequels have to be made to ruin everything before ppl get the point!.This era sucks!

Critics all seem to have some real problem accepting 95 % of comedy. they seek a deeper meaning or message, they analyse camera effects, lighting and character development, and fail to realise the one thing that's important in a comedy film; is it funny or not? The Deuce Bigalow films to me are quotable and full of laughs, and i don't care what anyone else thinks..
