Yeah!!, I am lactose Intolerant and the same happened to me! You take many check ups they don't find anything wrong so you take the lactose test. But i hated the thing you have to drink(sugar).
95% of lactose-intolerance is caused by environmental causes (mostly stopping drinking milk after weening from your mother) other 5% is genetic and means they were drinking formula from the start. Lactose-tolerance into adulthood believe it or not is a mutation not the other way around.

Unless your uncle is also your father, you can't get genetics from your uncle. If he has the trait also it would have to be from one of his parents ( your grandparents )
you cant catch it from someone sometimes you are just plain born with it i got lactose intalerint but sometimes it just comes i mean you dont even have to get when your born so there you go
