how would you go about mixing with outboard gear to pre recorded tracks? like he's doing in this video.

@YourADrag He's taking a send (aux) from the track in his DAW (protools), feeding it through the outboard gear, and returning it to his DAW.

Vocal track outputted through

D/A converter

=> GML 8200 (left side)

=> GML 8900 (left side)

=> GML 8200 (right side)

=> A/D converter

returned to protools as a new track/take that will be used in the mix down
