I dont think Lesnar does anything in UFC like he did in WWE. I mean in WWE he would pick up guys and toss them around like they were ragdolls its also rehearsed and you know who's going to win..........the moves are done in a way to LEAST hurt you. When they do a german suplex they try to slam you on the a part of your back thats pretty strong.

I don't follow the UFC or MMA at all and I haved hated Brock since his debut in the WWE. But I am kind of interested in watching some of his fights now, its going to be hard, but I may have to take a break from you guys just to see this stuff. Also will there be a Kimbo Slice V Brock match ever, I have seen Kimbo on here from his old beat the shit out of dumb asses in the street days and enjoyed it.

And not to mention the most important connection, Pancrase. It was technically Pancrase, not the ufc, that was the first mma organization, and its rule-set were influenced by pro-wrestling, specifically the attire the fighters wore in Pancrase.

Generally, mma fans, pro-wrestling fans, and fans of both still don't realize the connection that has always existed between mma and wrestling. Many of PRIDE's Japenese fighters were former pro-wrestlers. Just look at Kazushi Sakuraba (one of my fav fighters). He was the first successful pro-wrestler in mma way before Brock came along. Ken went to the wwe after his first period in mma. WWE helped promote ufc in the early era. Rampage's slams are influenced by his early love of pro-wrestling.

These guys are wong.. Lesner was 2-1 not 1-1 coming into the couture fight and beat herring for his second victory.. Herring previously beat Congo before that so based on ranking, Lesner shot up to top ranking Heavyweight level

Look at guys like Mark Kerr,Mark Coleman,Matt Huges,and Dan Severn who DID beat Ric Flair for his NWA world heavyweight title.A great wrestler,with the right amateur trianing CAN flourish in MMA. In the ring,they used the style they were most comfortable using,later, they modified it with MMA moves that worked FOR THEM.I see great young lions like A.J.Styles and Dolph Ziggler and Morrison, they could easily have been good,if not great MMA fighters,they still can,just like Lesnar and BobbyLashley

He's the ultimate fighting machine in the devision and his success wasn't a given cause look at his competition. Haven't yet, but soon enough! As far as wrestling being incorporated in to MMA, of course those are amateur wrestlers and they used amateur/greco-roman techniques but the people nagging mean pro wrestling of course. But not only do pro wrestling & MMA share the same common origins, with the way Jonny "Bones" Jones fights, we'll see pro wrestling moves soon enough, heh. But what about the reverse? Lots of wrestlers incorporate MMA. Danielson, Angle, Samo Joe, UWFI, etc.

Well you have to consider the timing of the rise of MMA & UFC; at his physical prime, MMA was banned almost everywhere so it would've been dumb. The funniest thing to me is Lesnar proves how similar the MMA business is to the "fake" wrestling business. Also, I think there shouldn't be a SHW division in MMA. i was a fan of MMA since 1997, and i was a fan of wrestling since 1995. And in terms of Fedor, don't expect the UFC to be signing him anytime soon. Dana doesn't want any 30 second fights, especially by submission. Cuz' remember, as huge as MMA is, most are the Spike Tv, TUF crowd. The 'TKO/KO crowd'. Please keep up with your MMA videos. For as shitty as mainstream pro wrestling is becoming, MMA will be IT for the foreseeable future.

I'm still not a Fedor believer. Is he dominating? Yes. But his level of competition hasn't been as high as it could be either. Catching a lucky shot (yes, a LUCKY shot) against the glass-jawed Arlovski is one thing, but having the skill and conditioning to take on Lesnar, Mir, hell, even Nog now (Fedor beat him twice in 06 I believe) would be a challenge. I hope Dana signs him so he can either silence his critics or prove us all right...hell, feed him Gonzaga first, then test him against Lesnar.

The whole "interim" went down like this... Randy was the champ obviously, but there was a brief fallout between Randy and the UFC in which Randy (still the champ) left the company for a while. So with no HW champ active, they needed to have an 'interim" champion to fill Randy's spot. In which Frank Mir won by beating Big Nog.

first off great vid, a few things. Number 1 with Brock/Randy, Brock really didn't deserve it, but Dana figured it put asses in the seats, so ok understandable. 2 Randy's age and absence did play a factor, because if Randy was a little bit younger he would have either gone the distance or beat Brock. 3. My prediciton is that this wil be a ground war rather than stand up with Mir winning. 4. Fedor will beat Barnett and we might possibly see Fedor in the UFC. All in all good job guys.
