The sails are like any other sails if you treat them well they last and if not the will fall apart like any others, Its all about picking the sails that best suit your budget and type of sailing that you do. Speak to your local north sails and tell him or herr the type of sailing that you do whether it is cruising, club racing, inshore, offshore and so on and they will advise you on what is the best for you. The shape of the sails is awsome because North Sails has the technology

We are thinking of getting some of these sails for our Beneteau first 35.5s. Could you explain a little more about your comment great shape but get damaged easily please?
