He did work out and train like a crazed devil before the game against Denver and they creamed the Broncos. I like the optimizing part of it - no room for slacking off
@I187blackshot Brady is probably my least favorite player, being a Colts fan, but even ill admit hes much better than mike vick. Vick is obviously a better scrambler than Brady but he is by NO stretch of the imagination a better passer. Look at stats and what matters most, superbowls.
Rodgers has been in the nfl for years and is just now being noticed, ever since tom brady put on a patriots jersey you will never stop hearing his name. He IS THE BEST.. all you aron rodgers dickriders can fuckin stuff your ass with his 1 ring while brady polishis his 3 next to his supermodel wife.
@DanielBzFb Really??? You claim hes the best without even taking into consideration Manning or Brees??? Brees right now is about to break the single season passing yards record. And is only the second qb of all time to throw for more than 5000 yards in a single season. And Manning is a four time MVP, has 11 4,000 passing yard seasons, has 4 perfect passer rating games, he has the most completions in a season with 450, bottom line is, Manning, NOT Brady, is the greatest quarterback of all-time.
Nope, Brady is the best of this past generation, with Peyton Manning second. A close second, but second, nonetheless. Drew Brees is impressive, and certainly will join Brady and Peyton Manning in the Hall of Fame someday, but what guys like Dan Marino did back then was a little more impressive than what Drew Brees is doing. Although, if it weren't for the 1982 player's strike, Drew Brees might not currently have the single-season passing yardage record.
@cjs3872 I'll admit that Brady is better in the postseason and in the clutch. But if Manning had some elite receivers consistently throughout his career, as Brady has, he could have broken even more records than he already has. I know your going bring up Harrison and Wayne. But that's all hes had. He hasn't had a dominant running game to open up the passing game, or a defense to help him win games and hes still the winning-est quarterback of the past decade.
Last time I checked, performing in the clutch is the ULTIMATE test for any athlete, regardless of sport. That is why Brady will always be regarded as a greater QB than Manning, or why John Elway will always be regarded as a better QB than Dan Marino, because Brady and Elway always did their best when it counted most.
After all, there have ben plenty of QBs that have but up huge statistics, but have been lacking in playoff and clutch situations. Among them are Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, Danny White, Tony Romo, Peyton Manning, and Warren Moon, among others. How you perform in the clutch determines, not only whether or not you win or lose in big situations, but it also can define the legacy of a QB, which is why Joe Montana may never be surpassed as the game's greatest QB ever.
@twatringer Brady had Branch Givens Troy Brown and David Patton when the Patriots won 3 superbowls and when he finally got an elite reciever (Moss) he threw 50tds and look at that team now he has the lesser of talent between Brees ARodg and himself yet he still passed for over 5000 yrds and his defense is last jn the NFL the Packers are loaded look what Flynn did when ARodg sat out and look at New Orleans they have a bunch of deep threats but I bet the Pats still win the superbowl becuz of #12
That's because Dan Fouts averaged 320.333 yards passing throughout the strike-shortened season of 1982. If he had kept up that pace through a full 16-game season, he'd have thrown for 5125 yards, which would have meant that Fouts would have broken the season yardage record four consecutive years. He first set that record in 1979, passing for 4082 yards, breaking Joe Namath's 12-year old record set in 1967, then threw for 4715 yards in 1980, and 4802 yards in 1981.
@cjs3872 And Brees will have broken that record too as he has one more game that will push the record up another couple few hundred yards. Even if he only throws 100 yards he will still break what would have been Dan Fouts record of 5,125 yards.
As for your point about Brees breaking what might've been Dan Fouts' record of 5125 yards, had the 1982 season gone the full 16 games, and had he kept up that pace wasn't my point. My point was that Fouts might have thrown for more yards in 1982 than Marino did in 1984. And as for how much Brees might up the record? Well, I think you might be lowballing him. If he threw for enough yards (413) vs. the Panthers to push his season total to 5500, it wouldn't surprise me.
To me, Brees' record completion percentage record of 70.9% set two years ago, which he might also break this year is far more impressive than his passing yardage record, though that might climb to as high as 5500 (he need 413 yards passing to reach 5500 for the season), depending on what happens against the Panthers this coming weekend. But the percentage record goes back to 1982, when Ken Anderson completed 70.6% of his passes for the Bengals in that shortened season.
@DanielBzFb While I agree Brady is a better QB than Rodgers, the reason your just know hearing about him is he sat behind a hall of fame QB for years in Brett Favre. And Brady may have more rings, but Rodgers is just getting started and has a great chance of winning another this year. When Rodgers retires he could have much more than Brady, maybe 4, 5 or even 6.
@kilox10001 This is the second time in the string of messages that you stated the Colts are 12-0. They are 0-12 (Just look at your previous comments). Well we can argue all we want, but comparing Brady and Manning cannot be done because they don't play football the same way. Manning yells out dummy signals to confuse opposing defenses and Brady uses snap counts to force defenses to declare their schemes. Brady and manning also have different styles of throwing the football. I still take Brady.
@kilox10001 I take Tom Brady as the total package. Manning blamed his offensive line after losing the Colts-Steelers 2006 playoff game. Brady is a true leader. I listen to his interviews every week and he not only leads his team to victories, he is a very supportive teammate. In addition, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have the most wins of any QB and coach combo. Last time I checked, the measure of football player is how often do they win and how often are they the best? Brady has the rings.
@kilox10001 Using your logic, NE's regular season record in 2007 was 16-0 and then followed up in 2008 with 11-5 while missing the playoffs. The most significant difference between those two teams is that Tom Brady played seven game minutes in 2008.
If you are going to have this argument, please address this question: Why did the Patriots lose FIVE more games in 2008 than they did in 2007?
Answering that question will validate the point that you are making, sir.
@kilox10001 You are among the best quarterbacks of all time when 1) you lead your team to a 16-0 regular season and 2) the same 16-0 team returns the next year without you and ends up losing 5 games and misses the playoffs. If you need a calculation, the Patriots had a 31% decrease in overall wins in 2008. Brady was regular season MVP twice, Super Bowl MVP twice, Super Bowl winner thrice, AFC championship winner fourice! The man needs no introduction.
I'm a neither a Colts or Patriots fan, but I will say as much as I respect both players, I think they are locks for the hall of fame, in my opinion Peyton Manning is better than Tom Brady. This is unbiased. Brady is a great combo with his TEAM, Manning makes his TEAM better. This is just my opinion.
So you are upset because our team doesn't completely suck and go 0 and 7 (so far) without Tom Brady. I mean if that's what u wanna cry about. Go for it...
Cut this "greatest ever" shit. His superbowl wins were confirmed cheats in which the proof was destroyed and he's got an amazing o-line, always has. He's indeed at the very top of the crop, but if Peyton Manning had his system, he would have done way more. Now let's see you Pat's fanboys throw a fit.
@TheDrewandNate you think Rodgers is the best QB of this generation? Rodgers may be the best so far this season but he has to be more consistent to be better than Tom Brady. Rodgers is close but he has a ways to go before he is better than Brady
To everyone saying that (insert name here) sucks should really rethink their statement. They are in the NFL for a reason. Even if they aren't as good as another QB they're still really good at what they do and that is exactly why they do it professionally. You can't suck if you're in the NFL. I'm so sick of arguments on Youtube videos.
And to all the dumbasses who keep bringing up spygate, prove to me that patriots were not capable of winning every game they played, the team was incredible offensively and defensively and btw every playoff game we've lost has been close so it ain't rape....hate on Brady all you want but in the end he's done more than any current QB will ever be able to accomplish including Manning
Alright everybody who keeps saying Manning is better because he carries the Colts is a dumbass, football is a team sport and the QB is the leader and must fit into the team not the other way around, Brady fits the Patriots, Manning makes the Colts, Brady has the stats, the rings, the records, and is comparable to Joe Montana, Manning has fantasy stats and a miserable playoff resume....oh ya so how are the colts doing without him? ya thought so
@mybigwang1 um how many superbowl rings do u have and besides tom brady has a better coach and team so Peyton does all the work and makes the play offs every season
@Zeduncan Brady has a better coach? Haha Belichick was 5-13 in his first 18 games as Pats head coach before Brady was inserted in the starting lineup. Belichick isnt even a good defensive coach anymore. He looked great with ROMEO CRENNEL's defense but notice Pats have been 32nd in defense the last 2 years. Some guru, Patriots will suck once Brady leaves. 2008 was a very lucky year for the Patriots but they will suck once Brady leaves
fuck u call me when the over rated payton manning wins another superbowl. if manning i so good how come that piece of shit only won 1 superbowl in like 14 seasons. BRADY IS FAR BETTER
@mybigwang1 I agree Brady is better, but Peyton is NOT overrated at all. That dude is a machine. Peyton has a shit team around him. I think we all see that now. This is a team game, one person doesn't win the Super Bowl. They are both 1st ballot Hall of Fame QB's.
When he talks about how people said they thought he wouldn't become a football player this guy I talked to said that when he was a baseball umpire in Cali he said "He was the best catchermive ever scene" lol
@bogs031589 I've been a Patriots fan for about 17 years. Rodgers will have the best quarterback rating of all time. Rodgers is the unanimous MVP. The Packers offense is playing unstoppable football right now.Rodgers, Starks, Jennings, Finley...... Do you have an answer to that?
brady is one of the greatness ever and i hope he can do good for inless 5 more season and win a superbowel ring again or just make playoffs for the rest of his career, manning, favre, brady all the best if they were rappers there would be eazy e, biggie, and 2pac
F*ck all u Manning haters. Even though i do like Brady also, he didn't win those SBs all by himself. Brady just always has a better overall team than Peyton most of the time. While Manning has to basically do everything he can to win. Like the last season Manning had to throw so much cause his team could not get the run game going. Also, the Colts defense is not the best either.
@britose111 post spygate..... Zero playoff wins! All you New England fans should've figured it out already....Since you can't cheat anymore, you can't win when it matters
Brady is far more clutch than manning. Manning is a loser who has NUMEROUS accolades. He's an old loser, and is just not as good when he needs to be unlike brady. Brady has a far more satisfying life than the loser manning, and is far better as a person. I would be rather be brady anyday, than ugly ass, ugly wife ass, workaholic ass, and lame ass, as manning
@FootballKiid He has a different line every couple of seasons and he's still good. Tom should be slighted because Belichick knows how to draft a better line than other teams? Or does Tom make his line look better?
@FootballKiid i hope thats a joke right? any one with knowledge knows tom brady reads defenses better than anyone in the NFL, how many guys can come off and a tore acl in their 30's and win nfl mvp? any qb without a good line is going to suffer, its the foundation and building blocks of the offense. tom brady is deadly accurate and knows what he is going to do before the ball is being snapped which makes his game much more effective than most qbs in the game.
best player to ever play the game of football. 3 superbowl, 2 superbowl and regular season mvp. has accomplished so much mote than almost all the quaterbacks. without any doubt a true patriot!! got to love em'!
Some one tell me again why do people pick Peyton Manning over Brady? Brady is better at reading defenses, Brady is more accurate on his throws, Brady makes smarter decisions with the football, Brady has turned nobody WRs into superstars. Brady turned a nobody named Deion Branch into a superbowl MVP, who has Manning turned into a SB MVP? Put Brady with the Colts and they have 6 championships
Most Tom Brady haters are Peyton choke Manning fans. Ill tak Brady over Manning anyday. Brady reads defenses better evidenced his better TD to INT ratio, and is better in the clutch. Manning may have the better personality but who gives fuck about personality when you're winning championships
@alexwiley joe montana is a hall of fame quarterback.. so you kinda just proved @bristose point in saying that Tom Brady is one of the greatest to play the game.
Watched football over 40 years and am NOT a Patriots fan but Tom Brady is the best I have ever seen. He is cool and calm under pressure, takes a lot of hits and just keep rolling. The one time you get him a legit set of WR's he breaks NFL QB records. His WR's are usual crap. Give him Harrison, Wayne and Clark or Rice/Harvin/Shaincoe or Austin/Dez/Witten and he would kill you. What does he get? Leftovers of Welker/Branch and some rookie TE that he makes look like a star.
heres a tip if a defender touches you cry like a bitch to the ref for a flag if he looks at you mean tell the ref and if that doesent work just tell your coach to break out the video cameras
Tom Brady reads defenses so well, that if a Cornerback who should have his man covered slips and falls, thus leaving the WR open, Brady won't even look that way because he isn't SUPPOSED to be open. He will have already gotten the ball to the weakness in the defense that was there from the beginning. Champion.
@britose111 Manning: 1) #1 pick in the 98' draft and has lived up to every expectation made of him. 2) Super Bowl champion 3) Super Bowl MVP 4) 4 MVP's. The most by one player in the history of the NFL. 5) 5x First-team All-Pro selection 6) 3x Second-team All-Pro selection 7) 11x Pro Bowl Selection 8) 6x AFC Player of the Year 9) Indianapolis Colts All-time leader in every major stat category. 10) I'm running out of characters here.
@arseniic thats obvious, and retarded... brady and manning are virtually the same, brady came into the league two years later, started a year after that and missed a season due to injury... so you can add four years to bradys stats average em out..
@arseniic Trent Dilfer never actually played in the superbowl or the playoffs. Dan Marino couldn't get his team to the superbowl, which does mean he's not the greatest QB.
@apolllos7 Wow. Trent Dilfer never played in the Super Bowl? Super Bowl XXXV. Check it out. Also, Manning was ranked #8th in the NFL Network's Top 100 Players. I'm pretty sure Brady was below him at 21st.
Fucking idiot. 1 and 4 are the same, and 2 is an opiniative fact. 5 is nothing. So all in all you have 3 superbowls and two mvps and a superbowl MVP! Woohoo! Ever heard of Joe Montana?
@britose111 2 superbowl mvps, 2 offensive player of the year awards, 7x pro bowler, 16 - 0 season, NFL Record 50 touchdown passes in a season... a lot more but im getting tired of typing!!
@SuGaR000003 What do you mean no balls? He's banging a hotter chick than you've ever seen AND don't forget he tore his ACL in 2008 (one of the most painful injuries there is buddy) so your statement is completely erroneous.
@PSNXhaj 3 Super Bowl Wins 4 Super Bowl appearances 2 Time league and Super Bowl MVP's 3 Super Bowls in 4 years 50 touchdowns in one season (Highest all time) Most consecutive pass attempts without an interception (Regular season - still running) First QB to achieve 100 wins the fastest Most consecutive home wins in regular season (28 - still running) Highest touchdown - interception ratio in a season (9:1) Perfect regular season (16-0) Most consecutive victories (21 wins)
@britose111 3 superbowls + 50 mvp votes + two mvps +mvp superbowl+3 superbowl in 4 year-all of the teams he plays against playbooks= nothing .... would it be easier to bet on black jack if you can see your cards first and decide to bet?
@britose111 I HATE HIM WITH A PASSION....but hes a DAM GOOD QB..one of the greats...doesnt mean i cant hate him...i have my reasons...99 Rams...and im a colts fan now..
@britose111 4x Mvp,onlyplayer2dothat 11x pro bowl 5x first team All Pro Pro Bowl MVP 1 Super Bowl Super Bowl MVP Fastest ever to reach 50,000 yards passing Fastest to 1,000 completions Fastest to 2,000 completions Fastest to 3,000 completions Fastest to 4,000 completions NFL 2000s All-Decade Team 1998 NFL All-Rookie First Team[44] 2004 AFC Offensive Player of the Year 2007 Best Championship Performance 2005 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award Offensive Player of the Week on 21 occasions
@0cguitarfreak whatching film closley can help you learn a defence yes they did film at one time but every fucking team cheats the only reason people cared about the patriots is because they are a dominant team
hey all dumbasses...pats arent just good cuz of their defense, they have this guy called tom brady, and hes a fucking haus and will go down as one of the best qb's in history, the bears defense didnt win them the super bowl vs the colts, suck on that
I use to hate Tom Brady with a passion but that was 2 years ago. After seeing the Pats lose to my Giants in the Super Bowl(07) I had solid respect for Brady. I always thought that his team made him look better than he actually was but that isn't the case. Yes the Pats are like a salamander the way they can regenerate parts but Brady is irreplaceable. He's not going to hurt you with brute talent but with keen and precise specs of glory repeatedly. I've seen it one to many times as a PHL&NYG fan.
If you don't like Tom Brady that's one thing, but to say he's not one of the best is BS. You'd be lying to yourself. He's probably the best there is, and that's coming from a Jets fan.
@ash0ppingcart I'm a ravens fan and I really have to agree with you; not many players I recognise as the best play for the ravens. Brady, Brees, Clay Matthews, Wes Welker... these guys are just my personal favourites, and while I don't support their teams, I recognise their skill.
And @cutuquick11: football is a team sport. Obviously you're not going to be recognised as a good quarterback if you have shit receivers, but good receivers still need a great quarterback.
i thought this would be how to cry when you get sacked

Tom Brady Best QB of All Time.....
-3 Rings. (14-5) Playoff Record (2nd best of all time)
-277 Touchdowns and 111 Interceptions is the best ratio of all time
-Brady is on pace for throwing for 5,000+ yards this year to break Dan Marinos record....
what else must i say?

@TheDrewandNate you think Rodgers is the best QB of this generation? Rodgers may be the best so far this season but he has to be more consistent to be better than Tom Brady. Rodgers is close but he has a ways to go before he is better than Brady

To everyone saying that (insert name here) sucks should really rethink their statement. They are in the NFL for a reason. Even if they aren't as good as another QB they're still really good at what they do and that is exactly why they do it professionally. You can't suck if you're in the NFL. I'm so sick of arguments on Youtube videos.

And to all the dumbasses who keep bringing up spygate, prove to me that patriots were not capable of winning every game they played, the team was incredible offensively and defensively and btw every playoff game we've lost has been close so it ain't rape....hate on Brady all you want but in the end he's done more than any current QB will ever be able to accomplish including Manning
mistadoctapeppa 4 months ago
Alright everybody who keeps saying Manning is better because he carries the Colts is a dumbass, football is a team sport and the QB is the leader and must fit into the team not the other way around, Brady fits the Patriots, Manning makes the Colts, Brady has the stats, the rings, the records, and is comparable to Joe Montana, Manning has fantasy stats and a miserable playoff resume....oh ya so how are the colts doing without him? ya thought so
mistadoctapeppa 4 months ago
@mybigwang1 um how many superbowl rings do u have and besides tom brady has a better coach and team so Peyton does all the work and makes the play offs every season
Zeduncan 4 months ago
@Zeduncan Brady has a better coach? Haha Belichick was 5-13 in his first 18 games as Pats head coach before Brady was inserted in the starting lineup. Belichick isnt even a good defensive coach anymore. He looked great with ROMEO CRENNEL's defense but notice Pats have been 32nd in defense the last 2 years. Some guru, Patriots will suck once Brady leaves. 2008 was a very lucky year for the Patriots but they will suck once Brady leaves
FTVVEVERYONE 3 months ago
fuck u call me when the over rated payton manning wins another superbowl. if manning i so good how come that piece of shit only won 1 superbowl in like 14 seasons. BRADY IS FAR BETTER
mybigwang1 4 months ago
@mybigwang1 I agree Brady is better, but Peyton is NOT overrated at all. That dude is a machine. Peyton has a shit team around him. I think we all see that now. This is a team game, one person doesn't win the Super Bowl. They are both 1st ballot Hall of Fame QB's.

tobyyawn24 5 months ago
F*ck all u Manning haters. Even though i do like Brady also, he didn't win those SBs all by himself. Brady just always has a better overall team than Peyton most of the time. While Manning has to basically do everything he can to win. Like the last season Manning had to throw so much cause his team could not get the run game going. Also, the Colts defense is not the best either.
Ven8707 5 months ago
i dont like him but you got to respect i think one season he threw like 50tds and 10 intos i think it was when they went 16-0

Yea Tom Brady is my one of my favorite qb's but i agree if his line wasnt sooo good then he would be garbage as hell.
FootballKiid 6 months ago
@FootballKiid He has a different line every couple of seasons and he's still good. Tom should be slighted because Belichick knows how to draft a better line than other teams? Or does Tom make his line look better?
sunflowerpixie1 6 months ago
@FootballKiid i hope thats a joke right? any one with knowledge knows tom brady reads defenses better than anyone in the NFL, how many guys can come off and a tore acl in their 30's and win nfl mvp? any qb without a good line is going to suffer, its the foundation and building blocks of the offense. tom brady is deadly accurate and knows what he is going to do before the ball is being snapped which makes his game much more effective than most qbs in the game.

Rupesh435 7 months ago
Some one tell me again why do people pick Peyton Manning over Brady? Brady is better at reading defenses, Brady is more accurate on his throws, Brady makes smarter decisions with the football, Brady has turned nobody WRs into superstars. Brady turned a nobody named Deion Branch into a superbowl MVP, who has Manning turned into a SB MVP? Put Brady with the Colts and they have 6 championships
FTVVEVERYONE 7 months ago
Most Tom Brady haters are Peyton choke Manning fans. Ill tak Brady over Manning anyday. Brady reads defenses better evidenced his better TD to INT ratio, and is better in the clutch. Manning may have the better personality but who gives fuck about personality when you're winning championships
FTVVEVERYONE 7 months ago
yeah brady and and payton manning got shited on by the jets last season the jets ppl

Did anyone notice Joe Montana's mediocre regular season stats? Same as Brady (2001-2006).
But Brady had monster seasons in 2007, 2009, 2010 and have similar superbowl records to Montana.
Yet still there are people saying stuff like "Brady is a horrible quaterback. Montana was much better than him."

Joe Montana is still the Super Bowl king at the QB position.
zakkbuckley 9 months ago 2
Tom Brady reads defenses so well, that if a Cornerback who should have his man covered slips and falls, thus leaving the WR open, Brady won't even look that way because he isn't SUPPOSED to be open. He will have already gotten the ball to the weakness in the defense that was there from the beginning. Champion.

@Mozokah30 Trent Dilfer has 1 ring. Dan Marino has zero. Who's the better quarterback?
arseniic 9 months ago
@arseniic thats obvious, and retarded... brady and manning are virtually the same, brady came into the league two years later, started a year after that and missed a season due to injury... so you can add four years to bradys stats average em out..
Mozokah30 9 months ago
@Mozokah30 o noo! if u average em out, Peyton averages about 1500 more yards per season than Brady! DONT TALK ABOUT SHIT U DNT KNOW
yusuf8938 7 months ago
@arseniic Trent Dilfer never actually played in the superbowl or the playoffs. Dan Marino couldn't get his team to the superbowl, which does mean he's not the greatest QB.
