Well, easy: the press has gotten to the point where not only are their political leanings out of date, their thinking is literally backwards, meaning that as time progresses, their understanding of current events regresses. So not only has nothing changed for Obama (which is true), but his successes were in the past and his struggles to obtain that success is happening now (which is false). Confused? That's because your mind is rational (AKA: you're a conservative).
