I was 5 when those towers fell. I may have been young, but I very vividly remember watching the news in my mother's lap. Watching tears roll down her cheeks and hearing her shrieks of horror. I had no idea what was going on, but I can still see the bodies falling from the windows & the towers collapsing, those are memories I'll never forget, unfortunately. This song is something I've grown up with, it makes me proud to be an American. God Bless America and the troops fighting for our country.

This song explains pretty much everything, sums it all up, and definitely makes us more aware of what has been happening, and how grateful we should always be. I can tell you the last part of what he says is true because my cousin served in Iraq and Afghanistan. I wrote him the entire time and in one of his letters he said he could see the difference they were making.

But the people dying in Iraq are innocent. They are civilians, and had nothing to do with 9/11. I'm as horrified about it as the next person. I remember walking into the school in third grade and remember watching the news coverage.

The reason our friends and family are in Iraq is so that we can get the people who blew up the twin tower. Also threats against the people that live there. If you don't support the war then thats okay. But just think. If we didn't fight for what's right against what's wrong then where would we be right now? With family serving in the military and with family memberS (plural) who were supposed to be in the pentagon exactly where the plane hit, but weren't there, I understand where some people may be coming form. There's too much pain, and war, and fighting. There are times that it's appropriate to fight. And there's times that the right thing to do is talk, or walk away. It's hard to take the high road, yes, but the easy thing isn't always the right thing.
I support our soldiers, but I DO NOT support the war. (And yes, it's possible to do both).

But the people dying in Iraq are innocent. They are civilians, and had nothing to do with 9/11. I'm as horrified about it as the next person. I remember walking into the school in third grade and remember watching the news coverage.
But that DOESN'T give us the right to kill innocent people. Now, if I could get my hands on the people who actually caused this, then that's a different story.
Not to mention that not every problem is best solved by blowing each other up. There's too much violence.

I really dislike osama bin laden and think he desurves to be ridden of. He had put so many people in pain that day on. My teachers b-day was on that day and when his class was singing happy bday to him it got interupted by the annoucmets explaining what was going on. Many people died that day i cried so much when i realized what was going on. Knowing he is still alive ( osama) i wish that we can just find him b4 he strikes again.
