The production sucks. I hear drums, and can hardly hear the guitar. And the music itself isn't very good. Perhaps, Robin Crosby was more important to Ratt than I ever thought.
Well, I think, Warren's solo CD is more 'clever', than Joe's or Steve's albums, 'cos it's Music, not shred examples in some lydian or phrygian scales. The same I'll say about "Fine Pink Mist" by Jake E. Lee, but it's more 'gothic' or 'brutal' maybe, than "Crazy Enough...". DeMartini's album is very romantic, I think. :)
Don't get me wrong, I don't mean artistically successful, I meant commercially. :)
Warren is my favourite guitarist because his songs have a strong sense of character. His solos are like songs in themselves.
I wish more people were exposed to him. I think it's funny that whilst today's youth will praise DragonForce for their speed, Warren has more versatility, technique and feeling in his guitaring.
I always felt bad that Ratt were never big in the '90s like Metallica was. Warren owns Kirk.

Overall, it's pretty lame.

He's really talented. It would have been nice to have him sing some parts on Ratt's songs ala Juan.
I love the Surf's Up disc he did. It's a shame he never became as successful as Steve Vai or Joe Satriani in the instrumentalist genre.

Warren owns Kirk, but Metallica owned Ratt overall.

Warren isn't capable of pulling off a solo album like Vai and Satch, btw his words, not mine.

Warren's too modest.
I'd say Ratt and Metallica are equally flawed and capable when it comes to quality.

He wasn't as good for a start. Warren isn't G3 material.

I saw Warren singing Juan's part in "You're Think You're Tough" on a video from 1997... Unfortunately, quite weak singin'...
