  • Gosh, I miss my Chiller Theater!

    Thanks for sharing this classic!

  • That scene at the beginning with the meteor coming in and impacting the earth looks like the same one used in It Came from Outer Space.

  • @radioclash81 And the guided ones in This Island Earth

  • Love this movie! Haven't seen it in years! Thank's so much for downloading! Such an original idea for a monster movie!

  • Thanks for uploadign thsi movie! Reminds me of weekends growing up with the coolest SciFi on the planet! This always trip me out!

  • Saw this when it first came out, it rocks! (haha hahaha hahahaaaha)

  • Good Sci Fi

  • I don't think I'll sleep a wink tonight, having seen some very suspicious looking rocks in my back garden this evening.

Unusual story line, very well made movie, and excellent picture quality. Thanks a lot for uploading it.

  • Giant rocks that suck up water from everywhere and then break apart and fall on you? How the hell did Lola Albright end up in this one?

  • A meteor from outer space wreaks havoc when broken shards grow when in contact with water, from any source, human or earth. The race is on to find the solution to stop them and save lives. Will they make it in time? A pretty good Sci Fi from the 50's. Neat cars and town. Good acting, not cheesy at all, a recomended watch.

  • "a cold sweat?"...man i would have liked to climb the twin peaks of mount allison...but im kind of a phreak...of course a 50 foot allison could squish me like a bug afterwards but that would be a helluva way to go...

  • I have this memorable film in "The Classic Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection" Volume 1. Four other films are included: "Tarantula", The Incredible Shrinking Man (which also stars Grant Williams from the film above)," "The Mole People," and "Monster On the Campus." Then, there's Volume Two.............

  • Good movie. Really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting. I think the reason why people entered the cars from the passenger side is because it may have interfered with the camera angle. They would have been stepping in front of the camera which would have been on the driver's side. It's just my guess.

  • Really appreciate the upload, some of these old classics (and stinkers of course) are truly difficult for many to find. I've been wanting to see this for ages.

  • All of these 50's sci fi films have to have some nauseating romantic side plot.

  • @pretorious700 i agree to a point, but consider: we would never had the pleasure of ogling beverly garland and allison hayes without the chick sub-plot, eh?

  • @akitaman101 True. I still get a cold sweat imaging Alison Hayes 50 feet tall.

  • Why does the driver always enter and exit a car from the passenger side in these old films?

  • @pretorious700 i've noticed that as well...what gives?

  • A very original "monster" in an unexpectedly well-made movie. Not a great movie, but worth 77 minutes of your time.

  • There's no electricity in town but at 1:00:12, the boy rings the door buzzer...

  • It's Tiberium! LOL

Seriously, this was actually the movie that gave the creators of Command and Conquer the idea for tiberium.

  • @BlueJersey112 Glad I didn't see you're comment first; Came to the same easy conclusion myself!

  • What a fine Ford woody. And the little town has Rod Serling written all over it.

  • The great Paul Frees!

  • A classic Science Fiction movie and almost impossible to find on VHS or DVD. Thank you so much for uploading this great movie. Thoroughly enjoyable.

  • THANKS VERY MUCH FOR THIS MOVIE!!!
