its not a blow off valve. its called a dose pipe. it just amplifies the sound of the compressor surge. type in "VL Calais Turbo Teaser" & then you'll jiz your pants if u think that this sounds awesome lol.

mustange4sho is right its definitely a wastegate..... The noise is not the BOV its the compressed from the turbo passing back through the compressor wheel, that give the flutter sound. If you really respect turbocharged car then you should know this.
