Check out my video channel for a demo of the OD-308 overdrive/distortion by Monte Allums. I'm using an Egnater Renegade head with cabinet impulses. Lemme know what you think!
I think the Mesa stuff sounds great. I really like the 5:25 and the 5:50. I think these sound a little bigger, just by virtue of a larger cab for the combo. But they are similar. Mesa will have a slightly different natural EQ curve. The Renegade leans more towards a Marshall and a Bassman where the Mesa stuff has it's own unique sound.
Lotta hum from that amp and you're in the humbucking position on that Anderson. One of things I notice on these bigger Egnaters is the torroidal transformers are supposed to make for a quieter power section than a standard tranny, but in actuality Egnaters seem to be noisier, even more so than a Mesa. Found that out with a Tourmaster. Was too noisy to gig with, the lights made it crazy, where it didn't bother my MkIII at all. Not too bad for a China made amp, though. Just noisy.
I love the Tourmaster. I recorded some of the sample clips on the Egnater site for that amp. It's a great sounding powerhouse of an amplifier and it seems like it could be on a rock, country, blues, hip hop, ANY gig.
I would definitely recommend the Renegade in front of the Rebel 30 or the 20. I think it's not as much "bright" as it is "crunchy" in the EL34 mode. And it's tighter than the Rebel but there's so cool sag in the drive section. I MUCH MUCH prefer the Renegade 1x12 combo over any of the Rebels. I still think the Tweaker is my favorite of the newer Egnaters because of the cost and versatility. But if you have $1k to spend, I would easily recommend this over anything else.
@dognmoon been following your posts, was in the need of something more than my Pro Junior. Just picked up the Renegade 112 locally for $700. Real nice amp. Thanks to your posts and reviews, I am a happy guy. Was trying to wait for the Tweaker 40 but for 700, I couldn't wait. Thx again
"not like I'm fixing to pee my pants or anything" LOL! Great demo. I'm considering one of these, maybe the 2X12. Have you used the recording out on this amp yet?
@dognmoon I placed a reaction on your tweaked vid mentioning I just ordered a Renegate head and Orange 212 open back cabinet with V30. I tried the Renegate 112 but didn't
Tried the Renegade head and 212 combo yesterday and preferred the head with a closed 212 cab. The cab had greenbacks in it and compared to the combo the sound was more upfront and responsive. The combo sounded much more like all the sound stayed in the combo. So I'll prob go for the head with a 212 cab. Whats your opinion on this?
I'm a bigger fan of heads and cabs vs. combos just because I like to keep the head close to me and the cab can go offstage or in an iso room to keep the volume under control.
I currently have a Mesa Electradyne, Peavey Classic 50, and a Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100 watt head and JCM800 Bottom. I just tried the Egnater Renagade Combo and I love the sounds I heard.
Do you think if I would have a good match if I get the Egnater head and play it through the Marshall JCM 800 Bottom?
I'm looking for an amp to use with my electric for rock/alternative and also to use with a taylor acoustic. Do you think you can play both acoustic and electric through this amp or is it more of a "rock" amp?
Hi, really great sound with your renegade, i have the same one, and i'm experimenting with some amp settings, can you give me your favourite settings for the amp please, for channel 1 and 2
Are you using same settings for anderson and Fender guitar??
I almost always run the clean channel with the gain all the way up. Clean channel on the 18w, drive channel on the 65w mode. Drive channel with EL34's, Clean channel with 6L6's. I push the mids on the clean channel and bump up the bass and treble on the drive channel. I pretty much use the same settings with all guitars.
Give God glory brother you rock and theae amps are smokin hot.Keep up the great work.question, which of the Egnaters do you like best? Have you tried the Renegade 2x12? Killer tone!!
No, they're slightly different. I'm a big fan of the Renegade because I feel like it sounds more refined and complex. The Rebel series sound more focused to me.
Out of all these amps you've reviewed, which one would you recommend to a gigging guitarist needing lots of variety; rock (classic, alternative, southern, 80's, etc), country & blues? Which amp makes you not want to stop playing?
It looks like you live in a HOUSE. I live in an Apartment. Would have to play low volume somewhat. Besides hooking the Renegade through my Digitech RP-255 and use my headphones would the Renegade be too much for me? Don't plan on living in an apt. for too long though. I just don't want to keep the volume on 1 all the time, ya know? Let me have your opinion.Brother. Have a Blessed Week.
Do you think the Renegade head playing through a 2X12 cab is overkill for house playing. I have heard the Rebel 30 and it has the EL-84's and to my ears doesn't sound bad but not as sweet as the Renegade. My friend plays his on the 18 watt setting as says it is still LOUD! Let's have your input.
i play in and we play devil wears prada, a day to remember, and stuff like that and this amp is perfect it sounds amazing and believe it or not this 1x12 is more than loud enough to play a show, love it.
nice review, idk if you do requests, but can you do a video with the renegade showing its gain capabilities with playing heavier music? dont get me wrong this vid is good, but i find alot of reviews consist of people boosting the gain, and then playing music that uses lower gain and you cant really tell what heavier stuff would sound like. i want extreme versatility and i want to see if this amp can go to higher gains if i would want it to. could you please play some opeth-ish or dream theater
or just some standard death metal or somehting? please just dont play tasteless chuggy chug chug crap like alot of people do. i want tasteful samples lol chugs are a waste of 5 strings.
just because ive heard of people claiming this amp is more hard rock and cant do metal gain levels.
@Linqua2112 A little chug chug is fine. I just hate that floppy, heavily detuned chug chug when they play that same minor riff I keep hearing... duhduhduh duhduhduh duneenunnun
Well, truth be told, I don't really play that kind of music, so anything I do will sound like a guy TRYING to sound like he plays that stuff. Your best bet is to check one out in person if you're close enough to a Guitar Center.
The amp isn't really voiced for heavy heavy stuff, but sticking a pedal in front of it might get you a little closer.
Yeah, I've tried it plenty. It'll get you very close, but it doesn't quite have the gain of the 2c+. It's a very close approximation though. I think even if you hit the front end of the amp with a boost pedal it might get you there.
I just ordered the Renegade 65 head with the Tourmaster 212 cab. Can't wait!!! Your vid definitely made me check out Egnater at the store. Thanks for that!
Do you get any extra noise from this amp when using the effects loop? Tried 2 Rebel 30 heads and both gave a lot of noise so I was thinking of trying the Renegade.
@savierq Yes. I played it today with a Gibson Explorer in C standard, and very surprisingly, it had a fantastic death metal tone. I put the gain on full, bass on 2 to 3, mid on 0, and treble on full. Coming from me, it speaks a lot, as I have very high standards of gain.
Your TA guitar is so nice.. floating tremolo, single coil neck, humbucker bridge, top notch quality basswood body, maple fretboard, bolt on neck... It's a dream.
Hi. I was looking at the Egnater renegade only it was the 212 instead of the 112 you're playing. I was wondering how the celestion speaker hold up even at high power setting, AND I was wondering how dirty the drive channel gets and how well it would respond to a boost pedal or a distortion in the front. Thanks.
This has just rocked my world. If I ever have the cash to get this amp, I'll do it. I still need an amp for lighter rock styles, like classic rock and blues, as my Bugera 6262-212 is more for heavy metal. And, some sick playing and guitars! Cheers!
I just watched Ted Nugent plug a Taylor T3 straight into an ElectroDyne and the tone was 10 miles wide. It was HUGE. I was really impressed with both Ted and the Mesa.
Ha ha.. i've been just listening to your rebel 30 demo and now i can't make my mind up.maybe you can help me out..i gig about 2 to 3 times a week i was using a couple of different amps in my backline and lately built a small wet rig to go with them.. either a marshall superbass head or old musicman combo as the dry amp with SD twintube classic for overdrive,i want to retire them as there 35+ years now and am looking for a new amp to replace them..tossing the coin on the rebel 30 or the renegade
Hey man I appreciate the videos! I am wondering if you have had the opportunity to give the 4-10" version of the Renegade a look? I am very interested in this config. I own the Tourmaster and love it, but I am also looking for something new but familiar (Egnater), but a little diferent ( EQ / voicing) any input or suggestions?
I don't have any experience with the 4x10, but I have heard great things about it. I think especially if you like the sound of a Bassman, the 1st channel of the Renegade would be awesome through a 4x10 cab.
You mind telling me how this thing is compared to a fender supersonic? Cleans and gain.. They seem like they're of the same nature, but I can never get a side by side in a comfortable environment, thanks!
I feel like the Supersonic is schizophrenic in that there's too much disparity between the cleans and drives. It sounds like 3 or 4 different amps, which is great for recording, but it's hell on your sound guy if you're playing live. The EQ curve changes too much. In my opinion, the Renegade all sounds like one amp, so you can musically switch from cleans to gain and solo boost on each one and it sounds like it's one amp with different levels of awesomeness. haha
Thanks alot you seem very knowledgeable =) To be honest I would just be using it at home, but for some reason I played the supersonic today, and I wasn't nearly as impressed as last time, not for the reasons you said. It just didn't stand out.
I've played the Alchemist a BUNCH. I love all of them except for the 1x12 combo. But the 2x12 combo is great and the head and cab versions sounds beautiful. I'd love to own one of those. I just felt like the 1x12 combo lacked some of the oomph and punch of the larger versions.
Great demos man! (both this and the clean) I found them to be very helpful as I have been very interested in this amp and wanting to hear it and your clips are the most thorough. Great playing too. Thanks again.
was thinking about blues jr but i like this, responsive to pedals? i also like the cube 60 i think i will get me one of these good job on vid, you sound like a smart guy so u should regain your losses good luck
It's actually for sale right now. The wife and I took a beating on unexpected bills in 2009 and my best guitars and amps had to go. Sold 2 Egnaters and my Fender Custom Shop blue strat last week. The Anderson is actually for sale right now for $1650. I hate it, but it's the right thing to do (sacrifice guitar stuff to make sure we stay right side up financially).
Dang that's rough man. Always disappointing when hearing about financial issues. And the custom shop strat? =( So what does that leave you with? Hopefully still the Taylor solidbody and the MOD50 :] I know your gear too well....
Well, I am close with some very nice manufacturers who have allowed me to borrow some nice gear so I'm still way too blessed with nice gear. The Lord provides. haha
Custom Shop strat is gone, but it went to a good home. MOD50 is still here (thank heavens), I still have the Taylor solidbody, but now it has prototype pickups in it (they sound fantastic), and I still have this green/teal Anderson on loan as well. I affectionately call it the Buzzocaster since it used to belong to Buzz Feiten.
oh that's real cool. yes He does :] so i guess you still have most of the essentials (minus the strat) haha i thought it may be because of massive amounts of buzz
I think the Traynor is a cool amp. I played one while I was on the east coast for a gig. I still prefer the drive sounds from the Egnater, but it all comes down to personal preference. The Renegade is one of the best production amps I've played in a long time, though. It's head and shoulders above most other amps I try.
Renegade can switch between 6L6 and EL34 tubes which I think sound more complex than 6v6 and EL84's. Also, the Renegade has a switchable solo boost for either or both channels which is great for lead work. You could argue that Renegade is a 4-channel amp where the R30 is 2-channels. The Renegade sounds better to my ears. More mature- more complex- a little more legit.
Awesome videos dude, egnater amps are amazing. Iv watched quite a few of your videos on these amps and maybe you can answer some of my questions. I currently own the Rebel 20, which I am really happy with, But I would love some more headroom, and two channels. How would you compare the voicing of the rebel 20 to the rebel 30 or the Renegade? And if I went with the renegade, would you recommend getting the 2x12 or the 1x12?
R30 feels less like a clasic rock amp. Clean channel is warm clean, like a Bassman and the drive channel has a nice midrange. Very Marshall-like. I always prefer a 1x12 just because it's more convenient, but a 2x12 would sound huge.
@devilman60 Not sure how to define loud, but for my music, it blasts. Is it a Marshall 4x12? No, but I play with it on 18 watts - never on 65 and it cranks. I've played with the 2x12 version and it seems like the tone is better (for me) on the 1x12, plus the 1x12 is easer to lug around - even at 55 pounds (2x12 is 75 or so). What kind of music do you play and what amps do others in your band have? That would tell the story. If you are competing with Marshalls - this might not be your amp.
Hi man thanks for the videos, great sound. I just bought the Renegade head, whats a good cab to match it with? was thinking a small 2x12 with V30s, what do you think?
Lov the vid, Im thinking of getting this as the head, what do you think? Its either that, a Marshall Jcm2000 Dsl100 or and Orange Dual terror, maybe a Peavey valveking or Peavey 3120. Put of those what should i get
It would be fun just to play all of them to see which one you like th best. Our ears all wanna hear different things, so it comes down to personal taste. The Renegade is an awesome amp, though. :)
Does the renegade 112 have an open, closed, or convertible back? And have you played the Bogner Alchemist? Someone told me the price on the Bogner 112 dropped to $999 so they are each other's most direct competition, thanks if you can help! I can't wait to get out and play this thing
I like the 30 quite a bit better. It's more versatile and has a great drive character. I like the fact that the clean channel gets to focus on good cleans while the drive channel gets to focus on drive. In the R20, you just had the one channel and it was trying to be all things to all people. That's just my opinion, of course.
hey man, another quick question, I'm a blues/poprock player (think John Mayer/Joe Bonamassa) so the clean channel and dirty cleans slight overdriven tones are very important to me, how do yo think this amp does covering that? one last question, how about hard rock.... I dabble in hard rock and metal too, do you think it'll do metallica convincingly? not gain wise as it has plenty, but the low end tightness, is it enough?
I played this at a rehearsal last night and I'm pretty happy with how it stood up. The edge-of-breakup tones are way cool. It can do rootsy stuff by cranking the gain all the way up on the clean channel. It's like the Rolling Stones kinda crunch. And if you really load up the gain on channel and then hit the tight and bright switches, it gets nice and tight. You could probably do Metallica stuff. Not Triple Rectifier scooped mids stuff, but it'll do cranked Marshall stuff fer sure.
I used it at a rehearsal with the M13 in both the front and the loop last night and it was great. The other guitar player said the amp sounded as good as my MOD50 rig.
And on the green Anderson... it's a loaner from Tom. I had a session for a commercial where I needed a Floyd Rose shredder guitar and that is what he dug up for me. He set it up with light strings and now I find myself playing it all the time. haha.... now... where are my zebra striped spandex pants? :)
you asked just in time! That guitar is going up for sale this week. :) I'll try to get around to the H1 video tomorrow. It'll be short, but you'll get the idea. I have lots of amps, but I don't own all of them I think I have 6 at the house right now and I only own 3 of them.

This has just rocked my world. If I ever have the cash to get this amp, I'll do it. I still need an amp for lighter rock styles, like classic rock and blues, as my Bugera 6262-212 is more for heavy metal. And, some sick playing and guitars! Cheers!

that sounds a lot like the mesa boogie electra dyne its fantastic

I just watched Ted Nugent plug a Taylor T3 straight into an ElectroDyne and the tone was 10 miles wide. It was HUGE. I was really impressed with both Ted and the Mesa.

Ha ha.. i've been just listening to your rebel 30 demo and now i can't make my mind up.maybe you can help me out..i gig about 2 to 3 times a week i was using a couple of different amps in my backline and lately built a small wet rig to go with them.. either a marshall superbass head or old musicman combo as the dry amp with SD twintube classic for overdrive,i want to retire them as there 35+ years now and am looking for a new amp to replace them..tossing the coin on the rebel 30 or the renegade
henzoni 2 years ago
Hey man I appreciate the videos! I am wondering if you have had the opportunity to give the 4-10" version of the Renegade a look? I am very interested in this config. I own the Tourmaster and love it, but I am also looking for something new but familiar (Egnater), but a little diferent ( EQ / voicing) any input or suggestions?
dicbrew 2 years ago
I don't have any experience with the 4x10, but I have heard great things about it. I think especially if you like the sound of a Bassman, the 1st channel of the Renegade would be awesome through a 4x10 cab.
dognmoon 2 years ago
Nice playing!
skullkap1 2 years ago
You mind telling me how this thing is compared to a fender supersonic? Cleans and gain.. They seem like they're of the same nature, but I can never get a side by side in a comfortable environment, thanks!
WoWandMetalFTW 2 years ago
I feel like the Supersonic is schizophrenic in that there's too much disparity between the cleans and drives. It sounds like 3 or 4 different amps, which is great for recording, but it's hell on your sound guy if you're playing live. The EQ curve changes too much. In my opinion, the Renegade all sounds like one amp, so you can musically switch from cleans to gain and solo boost on each one and it sounds like it's one amp with different levels of awesomeness. haha
dognmoon 2 years ago
Thanks alot you seem very knowledgeable =) To be honest I would just be using it at home, but for some reason I played the supersonic today, and I wasn't nearly as impressed as last time, not for the reasons you said. It just didn't stand out.
WoWandMetalFTW 2 years ago
that Egnater is just short of being an object of worship

Hi, have you tried the Bogner Alchemist? if so, what do you think about it? how it compares to the Renegade? thanks, very nice demos
mezafine 2 years ago
I've played the Alchemist a BUNCH. I love all of them except for the 1x12 combo. But the 2x12 combo is great and the head and cab versions sounds beautiful. I'd love to own one of those. I just felt like the 1x12 combo lacked some of the oomph and punch of the larger versions.
dognmoon 2 years ago
Thanks! I appreciate your response, I haven't decided wich amp to get and your comments and demos are helping a lot.
mezafine 2 years ago
Great demos man! (both this and the clean) I found them to be very helpful as I have been very interested in this amp and wanting to hear it and your clips are the most thorough. Great playing too. Thanks again.

did you end up selling your H1? thought you would never sell that (or try to) one
xdivinebladex 2 years ago
It's actually for sale right now. The wife and I took a beating on unexpected bills in 2009 and my best guitars and amps had to go. Sold 2 Egnaters and my Fender Custom Shop blue strat last week. The Anderson is actually for sale right now for $1650. I hate it, but it's the right thing to do (sacrifice guitar stuff to make sure we stay right side up financially).
dognmoon 2 years ago
Dang that's rough man. Always disappointing when hearing about financial issues. And the custom shop strat? =( So what does that leave you with? Hopefully still the Taylor solidbody and the MOD50 :] I know your gear too well....
xdivinebladex 2 years ago
Well, I am close with some very nice manufacturers who have allowed me to borrow some nice gear so I'm still way too blessed with nice gear. The Lord provides. haha
Custom Shop strat is gone, but it went to a good home. MOD50 is still here (thank heavens), I still have the Taylor solidbody, but now it has prototype pickups in it (they sound fantastic), and I still have this green/teal Anderson on loan as well. I affectionately call it the Buzzocaster since it used to belong to Buzz Feiten.
dognmoon 2 years ago
oh that's real cool. yes He does :] so i guess you still have most of the essentials (minus the strat) haha i thought it may be because of massive amounts of buzz

Im not sure if you can tell me ..but how does this amp compare to traynor amps ?
because im decidin on either the renegade or the YCS50... the up side of the traynor is it has boost and the clean is more versitile.
and it is cheaper..
ur thoughts ?
ilovelespauls27 2 years ago
I think the Traynor is a cool amp. I played one while I was on the east coast for a gig. I still prefer the drive sounds from the Egnater, but it all comes down to personal preference. The Renegade is one of the best production amps I've played in a long time, though. It's head and shoulders above most other amps I try.
dognmoon 2 years ago
What does the Renegade have (other than more wattage) than the Rebel 30?
pdbordelon 2 years ago
Renegade can switch between 6L6 and EL34 tubes which I think sound more complex than 6v6 and EL84's. Also, the Renegade has a switchable solo boost for either or both channels which is great for lead work. You could argue that Renegade is a 4-channel amp where the R30 is 2-channels. The Renegade sounds better to my ears. More mature- more complex- a little more legit.
dognmoon 2 years ago
Awesome videos dude, egnater amps are amazing. Iv watched quite a few of your videos on these amps and maybe you can answer some of my questions. I currently own the Rebel 20, which I am really happy with, But I would love some more headroom, and two channels. How would you compare the voicing of the rebel 20 to the rebel 30 or the Renegade? And if I went with the renegade, would you recommend getting the 2x12 or the 1x12?
superman72305 2 years ago
R30 feels less like a clasic rock amp. Clean channel is warm clean, like a Bassman and the drive channel has a nice midrange. Very Marshall-like. I always prefer a 1x12 just because it's more convenient, but a 2x12 would sound huge.
dognmoon 2 years ago
VERY COOL I am inquiring about these amps now,, WOW

I have the 1x2 - Amazing amp. Just amazing - have had it for 2 days and can't put the axe down....!!!!
chriscolonna 2 years ago
@chriscolonna I have one question, is this a loud amp, and I mean can this thing get loud for what it is?
devilman60 1 year ago
@devilman60 Not sure how to define loud, but for my music, it blasts. Is it a Marshall 4x12? No, but I play with it on 18 watts - never on 65 and it cranks. I've played with the 2x12 version and it seems like the tone is better (for me) on the 1x12, plus the 1x12 is easer to lug around - even at 55 pounds (2x12 is 75 or so). What kind of music do you play and what amps do others in your band have? That would tell the story. If you are competing with Marshalls - this might not be your amp.

Thanks for doing these vids, sounds great!

Hi man thanks for the videos, great sound. I just bought the Renegade head, whats a good cab to match it with? was thinking a small 2x12 with V30s, what do you think?
mattphelanguitar 2 years ago
V30's would be cool. I've also used it with a 1x12 with a G12H30 and it sounded really great.
dognmoon 2 years ago
What about a 2x12 with a V30 and a G12H?
mattphelanguitar 2 years ago
That would sound great. I've had that speaker combination in a few other amps and I loved the blend between the two.
dognmoon 2 years ago
thats cool man i wish i could play like that lol
manafest2010 2 years ago
what were you playing at 5:35 to 6:07
manafest2010 2 years ago
It started as "Breadfan" from Metallica but it digressed into just noodling stuff... as it always does. :)
dognmoon 2 years ago
That´s "Breadfan" by Budgie - a 70´s hard rock band from Wales.
Geetar2112 2 years ago
yup- Metallica did a cover as a B-side on their Garage Band Revisted stuff I think.

Lov the vid, Im thinking of getting this as the head, what do you think? Its either that, a Marshall Jcm2000 Dsl100 or and Orange Dual terror, maybe a Peavey valveking or Peavey 3120. Put of those what should i get
FairviewBand013 2 years ago
the valveking be my last choice, the clean channel isn't good at all
guitarfreak1921 2 years ago
Agreeable agreeable...
FairviewBand013 2 years ago
It would be fun just to play all of them to see which one you like th best. Our ears all wanna hear different things, so it comes down to personal taste. The Renegade is an awesome amp, though. :)
dognmoon 2 years ago
Does the renegade 112 have an open, closed, or convertible back? And have you played the Bogner Alchemist? Someone told me the price on the Bogner 112 dropped to $999 so they are each other's most direct competition, thanks if you can help! I can't wait to get out and play this thing

amazing amps
jcallseven 2 years ago
hows it compare to the REbel 20 halfstack, or combo?
FairviewBand013 2 years ago
I like the 30 quite a bit better. It's more versatile and has a great drive character. I like the fact that the clean channel gets to focus on good cleans while the drive channel gets to focus on drive. In the R20, you just had the one channel and it was trying to be all things to all people. That's just my opinion, of course.
dognmoon 2 years ago
when does the rebel 30 head come out, because i really like the 20 as well as the 30 combo
FairviewBand013 2 years ago
I'm not sure. I think I remember somebody saying October. But I could be wrong.
dognmoon 2 years ago
hey do you know if you can control the channel switching with a tc electronics g system???

I'm not sure if you can or not. Email Bruce Egnater and ask. He's pretty good about trying to get back with people.
dognmoon 2 years ago
I just effin love your style :) Love your vids..and a really impressive amp :-O is it very expensive?
Addie
Fr3etd4nc3r 2 years ago
This version is $1150. The head will be $999. GREAT price for this amp. And you'll be able to get them on sale once they get to GC and MF.
dognmoon 2 years ago
hey man, another quick question, I'm a blues/poprock player (think John Mayer/Joe Bonamassa) so the clean channel and dirty cleans slight overdriven tones are very important to me, how do yo think this amp does covering that? one last question, how about hard rock.... I dabble in hard rock and metal too, do you think it'll do metallica convincingly? not gain wise as it has plenty, but the low end tightness, is it enough?
JTPG 2 years ago
I played this at a rehearsal last night and I'm pretty happy with how it stood up. The edge-of-breakup tones are way cool. It can do rootsy stuff by cranking the gain all the way up on the clean channel. It's like the Rolling Stones kinda crunch. And if you really load up the gain on channel and then hit the tight and bright switches, it gets nice and tight. You could probably do Metallica stuff. Not Triple Rectifier scooped mids stuff, but it'll do cranked Marshall stuff fer sure.
dognmoon 2 years ago
How is the effects loop? Have you run your M13 through it? I wouldn't mind hearing some effected tones (chorus & delay)
ArtisanChurch 2 years ago
I used it at a rehearsal with the M13 in both the front and the loop last night and it was great. The other guitar player said the amp sounded as good as my MOD50 rig.
dognmoon 2 years ago
Awesome! Sounds great...but everything you demo sounds great!!! haha
Wanna sell that Anderson?
finnjeff 2 years ago
Thanks so much for the compliments!
dognmoon 2 years ago
Great Demo! How would you compare the gain channel to that of a Budda SD 18 or 30? Thanks
jhole1000 2 years ago
I wish I knew. I 've heard great stuff about the Budda amps but have never had the pleasure of playing one.
dognmoon 2 years ago
That's funny. Those are the two amps I'm choosing between right now: Budda Superdrive 30 and the Renegade. Very hard choice!
ArtisanChurch 2 years ago
nice demo - I'd love to hear your Highway 1 strat on this both clean & dirty. You're a man of MANY guitar amps!
infraredzero 2 years ago
you asked just in time! That guitar is going up for sale this week. :) I'll try to get around to the H1 video tomorrow. It'll be short, but you'll get the idea. I have lots of amps, but I don't own all of them I think I have 6 at the house right now and I only own 3 of them.
