The light seems to have a pattern to it and not random which suggest to me not natural phenomenon but something made. The question is, by who. I also see this object and do not believe it to be a star but people just think start because that is what they are told so they do not question.I believe it to be a protective satellite of which there are two protecting the earth put here long time ago perhaps by the Annanaki(Gods ,Eloheim)

@sustayne Yes this is ufos. I seen one landing the other side of the lake. That was rounded but with a triangular shape in it... verry crazy! It's pretty small with big lights red and blue and the lights move like the one that police use.

Going on your description of where it rose and where and when it set you were watching the bright star Sirius. It has been accompanying the constellation Orion across the sky since men came out of the cave. It will do exactly the same thing at the same time next year. Good astronomy but definitely it isn't a messenger from some deranged would-be cult leader out to make a buck.... or is it a quid?

Hi i just wondered has anyone seen another star which ive spotted 2 weeks running it comes in the early hours of the morning 2.30 onwards,its much bigger than the star in question its like a small moon and it comes quiet low and gets smaller as its backing away it looks like the star of Betjlehem only bigger.

Wonder what you're looking at? Download free program called StarCalc... put in your location coordinates and time. You will see sky as is. You can even turn off stuff to see only planets, etc.--Most useful program I've found for sky watching.

I saw a star in March above Amsterdam. Did look to the west. It did not move, and as I saw it I thought, this is not a star, it is lower. two days later, I heard about the star and the Maitreya and i thought 'Ah, I saw that star'. I didn't talk much about it, because what does it mean?

This is NOT a star, Venus or a super nova. Don't you think it's a little strange that all of a sudden these things are being seen over major cities all over the world? One showed up over Las Vegas at the end of October 2008 and I've been watching it ever since. I live outside of the city and have a good view of the night sky. This thing was not part of the star scape I've been looking at for the past 9 years.

Stars don't just "show up" and even if they did, they don't act like THIS thing does!

Indeed. These things are everywhere. Something big is going on. Theres been a New star here in michigan too since about last summer late summer... it just popped up one night and hasnt left...im going to try to film it

I've seen a star like this. It lit up one night and stayed in that general area for a couple of months. I wouldn't think anything of it if it weren't for the unusual colors and frequency of the flashing. Also, it's movements seemed to be out of sync with the rest of the sky. I honestly don't think it was a supernova, but I could be wrong, just like everyone else..

That isn't Venus. That is just a star. From our view, in certain parts of the sky... our atmosphere distorts the light of the star and makes it appear to change colors or glimmer. This doesn't generally happen with Venus because it is so close to the Earth. Venus tends to have a constant white light.

it's Nibiru it s coming into our solersystem, Nibiru will arrive to earth 2012 and it is a Red Dwarf that's why you see it blink if it was Venus or some other planet it would not blink it would just be a big bright white star in the sky.

i've seen the same thing in delft netherlands. it's not venus as venus is clearly seen from our livingroom window and this one i see on the other side of the house in the bedroom window. besides it looks different: venus does flicker, but it doesn't change color as the thing that i saw - it was bright, but also flickering a little red and green/blue. two nights ago there were also two other, smaller spots, moving in sync under this bright thingie that remained still.

Yeah , was it high up in the sky ? How late was it when you saw this? I was filming then and I noticed a pretty bright star high up in the sky and when I focused my camera on it I spotted the two smaller dots! After that I noticed that I didn't needed to rotate the camera, now that was strange ! Quick after that there came a big fog and there was a huge halo, miles wide ,around the moon. Used photos of this moon in my new movie chemcon.After that No more visible stars due to the fog. Thanx

Venus is shining very brightly in the sky and I noticed it at around boxing day too. Very very bright. Perhaps this is what you recorded. The changing of the colour spectrum is most probably due to the atmospheric distortion which will twist and bend the light and give off different colours due to the water vapour refracting the light.

You got it right but then Sirius in staid of Venus. We can see Venus to , she comes up at the begin of the evening, this star appears around midnight. The very strong twinkling and flashings are indeed atmospheric causes, but I think that it is because the very heavy pollution they drop here lately! Please check my channel and check the movie 'contrail or no contrail' I even got a film from the moon that is deep dark yellow orange, and deep purple skies! H.

Hey hantorio. Yes! you Know this is what I saw here in Virginia, USA. i live in the Mountains, Not Much polution here at all. in the upper atmosphere? maybe. But it was Very Clear when I saw it (jan.8th 08')for only a couple mins until the clouds moved in from the west.(and stayed!) It was in the S.E. It is clear today mon/12/08. I'm hoping i see it tonight. I thought it was between 7-9 pm EST. when i saw it. did'nt check the time. I will tonight if I see it!

In Holland the star is rising from the southeast to the southwest at +- 23.00 till +- 2.00. I have no proof jet but I think it's Sirius, now you can question if Sirius is a star or not! Due the newspaper report! H

Tripod , and yeah sometime it moves very strange on 1.06 it hops to the right, I didn't touch the tripod there, it could be the camera but I have it more then a year now and I never experienced such hops before. It was strange to see it happen on the camera display on that moment.

It looks and moves like a star. The hype is coming from a little news report that appeared in a dutch newspaper few days ago. Now please notice that in Holland the media is very controlled and normally we don't see hear or read anything of these topics! They wrote around this date a star appears and that it wont be a star but a spaceship, I'm just wondering of this is the one there wrote about. It's prob Sirius or another star. H

They next time you film something like this, zoom the camera all the way out so some objects on the grond can be seen. Then the viewer can judge how fast the object is moving and how big it is and how high off the ground. That is called "getting reference points". The video here is just a film of a light and you can't tell anything about what it is, or if it is faked. That is what I mean. peace.

In my other movie on this Star , the one in the video messages above, won't reveal any reference points either, maybe a little ... no not really , Moon and Venus yes but the Star only up close.
