The people who are saying that a k20 would give the same results are pathetic. This engine is more than double the size. It's heavy but way more powerful than a k20. Any kind of fan boy is sooooo lame, Whether it's a import, muscle, Mac ,windows, xbox or ps3 fan boy. ok. well ignore the other comment. didnt see this video or another where it did 10.29 sec. but i consider it still stock if the k20 has i/h/e. and they can do 12's. ive seen a full weighted hatch with radials making 214hp 151tq and did 12.8 at the time. theres actually alot of k20 hatches doing it with that power, and with slicks a whole sec faster. again, this car is amazing, and i love it. so dont take me as a hater, or some "ricer"

im pretty sure the powertrain in the car is stock, and its in the 11.s cuz it weighs much less now, so obviously the car can do much better, just needs mods.

the motor is stock with headers and intake....and untuned here.....runs mid 10's and way more reliable and streetable than any 10 sec honda....

although hp/liter doesnt make a motor better than another. You cant ignore the benefits of making decent power from a smaller motor..usually, the smaller the motor, the better the ratio of power to volume. look an an rc car motor. 1cc, making 1 hp... thats like a stock ls1 making around 7,000hp.. a honda motor, has this to its advantage, plus its designed with smaller tolerances. so hp/L can some what be related to quality of the motor. making 500hp, out of 7L's is still horrible

Go back to playing Need for Speed. The only statistic that really matters is HP/engine weight/actual displacement. A lot of DOHC I4's are actually the same size and weigh just about as much as contemporary V8s. F20C --350lb, LS2-450lb. Twice the horsepower and torque in a package that is small enough to be stuck anywhere? (FD's, Miata, Fiero, etc.), please. Unless you have an application which really, really requires the space, there's no reason to even consider it.

@03basesedan Actually It technically does have "Vtech" All "Vetech" is is a fancy word for Variable Valve timing. That's something dozens if not hundreds of motors have been incorporating for the last decade now.
