I think she is right about the strong being obligated to help the weak. My father once told me, and excuse my freanch because this is a direct quote. I love how she manages to balance the emotional and the realistic(read: blood and death) parts in her books. Since the balance is so nice - it really doesn't get too cheesy when she says that Katniss' best attribute is her compassion. Because c'mon, usually that shit is cheesy.

now that I think about it, Suzanne is very right. Our country has become almost numb to war. People in the hunger games are so use to the deaths of these kids each year that it's becoming more of a tradition, something that's normal. It's only real for the parents of the children lost... and that goes for the parents of soldiers too. There's a parallel between the book and war and she's made that very clear.

Its amazing how much I love both books! I stayed up at night because of them and I dreamed about them all the time. I never want them to end, but you can only go so far with this plot.

P.S. I ABSOLUTELY WANT PEETA AND KATNISS TO BE TOGETHER FOREVER!!!!

and i think that Mockingjay should be like 700 pages long...

cuz i always stay up all night reading even whenn im rereeading.
