Does anybody understand WHY Margaret wanted to spread birth control? B/c her mother died at only age 50 of TB, mainly due to 18 pregnancies (11 live births).She didn't want other women to go through that. Does anybody understand WHY Margaret wanted to spread birth control? B/c her mother died at only age 50 of TB, mainly due to 18 pregnancies (11 live births).She didn't want other women to go through that. American Eugenics strongly influenced Nazi Germany and especially their horrific racial hygiene theory. Who knows what would've happened if Sanger got her way with the segregation of "unfit" people onto farms, away from the rest of society? This is the woman Planned Parenthood celebrates.

The entirety of her writings (which you can download many full-text Sanger writings on our site) are dominated by Eugenics.
