cloth mallots are supposed to be used on a xylophone he is using plastic ones.

You're supposed to use cloth mallets with Vibraphone and a Marimba.

I like to use cloth mallets for the lower octive of the marimba, and hard rubber for the upper.

Xylophone should use either rubber or plastic.

At state competition (2008) a school played super marios and instead of uniforms they dressed up as mario and luigi and their drum major was Zelda, and they had 1 guard girl, and she was dressed as peach. she was the only one they had. Sadly i nvr got to see their show
