I just realized something. What happens when you already have the thermal scope? I kept mine from the 1st playthrough. Do we still have to open that freezer thing for another scope?

@sema6008 well no, but the second u walk into the freezer with the thermal scope in your case during a 2nd playthrough, the room miraculisly thaws and locks u inside and u have to kill the regenerator.. again. Besides, u have to go in there anyway to get the Waste Disposal card.

@sema6008 well, call me crazy, but its best u keep the scope because if u have it and u go into the freezer, u r prepared and ready to shoot, but if u grab the one in the freezer, unless u r pretty good fighting in or escaping from crampt areas, u r pretty much screwed since he will grab the second u step out the door. It's happened to me alot of times, and 30% of it ends with me dying.

@sema6008 Also, since u do have the themal scope right, it does help to get rid of the regenerators in the hallways. I just pull out my TMP, just like vash, pop a warning shot to grab his attention, and then shoot the plagas off. And yes i was crazy enough to go back to the room with the first regenerator( i was broke and i don't use cheap weapons XD).

It's funny because a little bit further from this point (where you have to unlock the door to get Ashley out) I am low on shotgun shells and have enough grenades, handgun and rifle ammo. The game keeps giving me TMP ammo. UGH
