A beautiful song, for a beautiful film and book. Very heart breaking, and I love Andy's version because it's so heartfelt and touching... For those of you who don't know the story, the SS Exodus was carring hundreds of Jewish refugees from Europe to the new Israel State (British Mandate of Palistine). Since these refugees had no documentation, they were refused entry, and 'sent' to Cyprus. They actually got sent back to France, and then to Germany, and put into 'camps'. Very very beautiful book.

This song actually has to do with a movie called "Exodus" which had nothing to do with the Jews escaping from Egypt. I believe it had to do with a ship of Jewish refugees headed to Palestine during WWII. The ship was intercepted by the British and the refugees were returned to Nazi Europe. Funny, the words were penned by a song writer in the USA, not a Jew. To go with the theme of a movie about Moses and the Exodus from Egypt. Yet, everyone wants to argue about Israel and their land, when the scriptures plainly state that they lost their precious promised land when they would not turn from idols. Finally a piece of agreed upon land was given to the state of now national Israel in 1958, by the govt. not God. But a wonderful song and movie!

1- He's a business man and knows how to create Jobs, and as Jim Carville said "It's the economy stupid!" we need Jobs and Trump can get us jobs
2- He loves his country for what it is and not what it "could" be
3- He understands the unfair trade we have with China and other nations, unlike others who think free trade is wonderful, when it has cost America millions of jobs.

A beautiful song, for a beautiful film and book. Very heart breaking, and I love Andy's version because it's so heartfelt and touching... For those of you who don't know the story, the SS Exodus was carring hundreds of Jewish refugees from Europe to the new Israel State (British Mandate of Palistine). Since these refugees had no documentation, they were refused entry, and 'sent' to Cyprus. They actually got sent back to France, and then to Germany, and put into 'camps'. Very very beautiful book.
