hi, i have an old 1977 hermle anniver. number 967 i just bought the part that connects to the top and hooks onto the revolving part at bottom and adjusted the bottom nut that the weight sits in so it spins ok. Unfortuanetly it stops after 4 mins of spinning. I set the time (btw is there supposed to be another knob to set something to the left of the Set Time Knob? can you help"?
@wubbermatic hi. the anchor releases the escape wheel in the clock movement..it is governed by the forks attached to the wire which you have replaced. it should release evenly in each rotation of the balls. it is probably only just releasing in direction ball rotion in 1 direction & overrunning in the other. suggest you google putting anniversary clock in beat.
