lol... difference between "cutting nurses, teachers etc" (lies) and "not filling positions where a person has left or retired and is not all that neccessary (truth). Typical politician bullshit.
Costa has said he's shaft 10000 Public servants while Debnam will simply not replace 20000 over 4 years...they're both as bad as each other and these sort of ad's filled with populist lies just muddy the water.
Both main parties haven't convinced me yet to vote for them. Sure, criticize if you need to (not because you want to), but make the state election campaign a lot more positive, instead of being negative all the time.
And just look at the record of state Labor in NSW:
Refused to get rid of some taxes after the GST came in.
Cuts in public transport
Cuts in the number of police & police stations. And these police that recently graduated was a political stunt & only to replace SOME police that Labor cut.
Dumped projects.
Increase in public transport fares every 6 - 12 months, no T-Card fare system as of yet, which was promised ages ago.
Funny how you clowns mention the Public Servants we care about and not the excessive numbers of bureaucratic paper shufflers that you truly represent. Carr and Iemma's complacency has seen NSW suffer unbelievably and is in its worst shape ever. Cutting the rot from the public service would be the greatest public service ever. A vote for Labor is a vote for ignorance and mediocrity. Crazy indeed.
And how many public servants did Michael Costa promise to cut? And remember Costa mislead (I'd prefer the "L" word) the NSW when he said that NO CountryLink trains will be cut, yet 5 months later, cut the Murwillumbah XPT back to Casino. And how many times has Iemma reannounced the same promises over & over?
My only wish is to be able to move home to NSW. For all her beauty Sydney is disfunctional and unlivable. Labor has had unprecedented funding and power and yet NSW is as good as bankrupt. It's time to disconnect your tax from Morris Iemma's urinary tract before he pisses everything we have up against the wall. Vote for whoever you like. Just remember that Iemma is much like his countryman Nero. NSW is burning and he is laughing about it.

There is an alternative... vote Greens
albatross2147 5 years ago
Vote for the Greens & you will be effectively be voting for Labor due to preferences.
If Labor was genuine, then it would have completed projects WELL before an election year.
It's time that Labor is kicked out of office

What projects have Libs delivered and WHAT did they DO to deliver! the price??

is this the same greens party that wants to stop coal exports and close down the coal industry in New South Wales?
rustyroo1982 5 years ago 2
I know. I just hope the voters are willing to give them a chance. The Greens are really nice decent people.

Great campaign, even NSW State politics is creeping into YouTube. Where would the world be without Chad and Steve (founders of YouTube)?

29 thousand PS jobs cut... it's 29 thousands too little. Get rid of those incompetent pen pushers.. every single 7/8 and above should be scrutinised
kangurski 5 years ago
Angry - Which 7/8 did you apply for and not get?

So you care about nurses, police, but NOT about maintenance workers, child care workers, teachers aides, the people who keep the State running ?
If you think that the State would benefit from this guy razing the social infrastructure and mortgaging your future, then you might get your wish.
