If you knew anything about the evolution of guitar playing, you would understand Mr. Van Halen's contribution to the way we play is huge. He re-invented the guitar as we know it. Sure kids can play his stuff nowadays because they practiced something they wanted to emulate.

I love Lindsay's playing. He is up there among my favorites olong with Simon, Kottke, JT etc.

I have a bunch of young guitar students who play Landslide and Rhianon well.

@chroylikesfish Go on Ebay. You can find it for about $17,000 and on up. You are probably better off buying the pickup for $150 and throw it into a Fender strat. Most of what you are paying for when you get that guitar is the trial and error, and time that went into making the guitar an exact duplicate. Burns, reflectors, etc.
