  • Gday mate.. yeah, thats Amos Road.... I lived from Ingham, I drove sugar cane trains for a number of years... if you continue down Amos Road across the crossing, you come to a cane train yard... you thought QRs gauge was narrow- cane treains run on 2' (61cm) gauge !

  • @BigBadBeast

Yah that's my little sister ;) 'and then it's like The Sunlander comes' she knows her trains ;)

  • I have heard of this train, it has a lot of bad luck .... crashes a lot don't it.

    Great vid mate !

  • mm yeah it derailed a couple of times... they should so not have it on narrow gauge :P

  • @VicRail99 - once because of overspeeding on a curve, once because it hit a garbage truck on a level crossing. Neither derailment had anything to do with gauge.

  • Nice train a bit like the virgin train hear in the uk.

  • what was that noise @ 00:33 sounded like a toddler making a delightful incoherent sound as if it's happy to see the train pass by

  • Sounds Like "Lug it when the sunlander comes"

  • great video

  • Nice horn tone - plenty of harmonics

  • yeah it's like the only one that I know of that's a major-triad =D

  • Amos Road it is.

  • thanks heaps mate :)
