The mushroom, especially growing on the head, usually means that yur real shy ( not all of the time) &that yur always alone or left out (main reason). The shy blends in w/the alone 1cuz shys r usually alone. It symbolizes being alone so much u start growin...mushrooms. But either way it's still adorable on Nigaito-sama, nee~? ☆〜（ゝ。∂）

He's a fanmade character, so nothing is official. His item is generally a green apple or green tea, but he's often depicted with a mushroom too, usually growing on his head. I'm not sure, but it think has something to do with being a hermit (or shy) as an exaggeration (like the sweatdrop is for embarrassment). I've seen it in animes, where a character who is left out will comically been shown cultivating mushrooms.

Yeah. He's Kaito's little brother. Technically speaking, it's just Kaito's voice at a higher pitch. Fans gave the different pitches their own characters, though, resulting in Kaito's brothers Akaito, Taito, Nigatio, prolly some others I'm missing, and his sister, Kiako.
