  • The Humanplasma part is BS too. They did help athletes dope, but not a single one of them were german, nevermind 20/30.

  • This fantasy theory can only have come to life in a finnish sauna after 2 bottles of vodka.

  • norwegian cross country skiers are HUGE dopers.

  • @ilkkavu You finns really are something arent you. Saying we are the dopers when it always have been the finns that has been caught for using dope so many times while the Norwegians never was caught.

  • papmjny, is Erik Tysse driven away from Norway then ? What about Georg Andersen, Lars Arvid Nilsen, Jan Sagedal, Aham Okeke... where they live now ? Hawaii, Antarktis ?

  • In papers I have read that highest hemoglobine value was almost 250 given by Kazakhstanian man in mid 90's. His worst rivals had values between 200 - 220 - and Myllyla 190.

  • Veridopingia tutkinut Tapio Videman sanoo että doping testit on viihdettä ja pari positiivista tulosta tarvitaan uskottavuuden vuoksi. "En jaksa enää uskoa testeihin. Marion Jones testattiin lähes 200 kertaa, eikä ainuttakaan positiivista tulosta. Ja Jones käytti steroideja, epoa ja kasvuhormonia"

  • There are whole lot of countries, where sportsmen or trainers have confessed doping use in sports. Finland, Germany, Sweden, Great Britain, France, Italy, USA, Austria, Australia, DDR...Norway not listed here. They are 100% clean. Ask them !

One single man can 100% guarantee, that all their skiiers are not-doped ? Sounds a big lie.

  • We know now for a fact how nations in the old eatsern block doped their athletes through an extremely well organised system. Unfortunately nations like Russia still live in the world of dope.

Other nations like USA, Finnland, Italy and Austria tend to believe that it is ok to dope because everyone else is doing it. In Norway people would go crazy if one of their top athletes had been caaught, and they would probably have to move away from the country.

  • He had to apologize because the norwegians just like the americans, aren´t ready to swallow the fact that all top-athletes are drugged in some way.

  • this guy and his team should have been lined up on the next olympic and shot!

  • For us sport fans, it's important that there's no evidence. This way the illusion of clean victories is possible.

  • This it the worst dockumentary ever. Everything were proven wrong...those guys should never be allowed to make another movie. False evidence is not good.

  • I know it's been mentioned before but the man fronting this documentary was not only proven wrong, he was also more or less forced to take on reporting assignments out of the country for several years. He made a formal apology and no evidence has ever been produced that a Norwegian cross country skier has used performance enhancing drugs, despite very heavy, regular testing. Unfortunately, the testing routines aren't anywhere near as rigorous among some of the other prominent skiing nations.

  • Thanks Griselabb. I know doping is a serious problem in sports, but obviously not every single athlete is on drugs.

Someone needs to make a more completely and thorough investigation than this video it seems.

  • Thanks for posting this vid. I know all about doping in cycling, but this was eye-opening.

  • Don't believe it all. This documentary was ridiculed and proven completely off the mark in Norway. The man largely responsible for the program made a public apology, and all the "lost" medicines were very thoroughly accounted for. The people behind the documentary just failed to locate them. That said, one is naive claiming that every Norwegian athlete is clean, but there are at least no evidence that Alsgaards, Daehlie etc. did ever take advantage of illegal substances.

  • As a matter of fact, one of the greates Norwegian cross country skiier of all time, Thomas Alsgaard, has done extremely well in races recently, several years after his retirement. This should be an indicator that it is very doubtful that he did drugs during his proffesional career.

  • Only because Norwegians dominated in times when others were doped, dont have to mean they were doped too? This isnt cycling you see, cross country skiing is more technique than most of you would think. In addition, Norway has always been great at vaxing and gliding for better skiis than the others managed to get.

Alsgaard had brilliant technique, Dæhlie were extremely good at taking out all he got in the races. Combine better skiis, technique and talent and you see HOW WE CAN WIN WITHOUT DOPE!

  • olasonn, how do you explain almost all top10 athletes in xc skiing during mid1990's had hemoglobine values nearly 200 without epo? Before 1997 there were no limitations concerning the hemoglobine values, not before fis understood that those extremely high values were serious death risk?!?!

  • The Finns are at it again, unbelievable!

Trying to blame someone else so they won't look so bad themselves.

  • this is from a Norwegian ducumentary that has been proved wrong. the network had to give a public apologi so this is not correct. there are no evidence that norwegian athletes where doped under lillehammer 94.

  • They said that tema Norway had ordered the same hemohes plasmaexpander for lillehammer olympics. That same hemohes was the drug from which use the Finns were get red handed at lahti 2001.

  • What did they say about Daehlie?
