@CJurasin The UN didn't back the US' invasion in 2003, why? They lied about his WMD's and wouldn't let Hans Blix and his team complete their inspection. The invasion was poor planned, and dubiously motivated. The outcome has been chaos and trauma for the Iraqis. Focusing on Saddam's evil, sidesteps the question of the US govs motivations behind the invasion. I believe it was the petrodollar and not altruism or justice, judging by their alliance with various fascist govs around the world.

I would say that is a good snap shot of the state of affairs (QE2 being prepped to infuse 600+ billion into the econ.). I'd say it's a pretty good track record thus far.
