I can't really speak for anyone else but haven't you SY fans noticed that no one really knows about them. It's like a secret world where people speak a secret language and are oblivious of the outside world for the most part. Then watching the youtube videos of SY being that they can't be seen virtually anywhere else make you wonder do they exist or are they just some fucking kick ass world shattering cloud parting gods from the hippocampus ( i know I spelled that wrong) but it's a valid point.

wow, its amazing that sonic youth is still around, most original and great bands it seems always end long before there old (eg: blink 182, nirvana, lyynyyrd skyynyyrd, just to name a few) but these guys, still makin music. got a little of the "ozzy stuff" (by that i mean there old, but still makin music and are still awsome)

Not exactly kids.. Thurston's in his, like, 50s... but Sonic Youth is a noise rock band formed in the early 1980s. God, they're so fucking awesome.
