To this day, my favorite Mackey Song...don't know why they don't play his music even on island radio anymore...so much better than the stuff that is put out...I've lived all over this country and I introduced all the friends I've made to Mackey's music...Thank you Mackey...for inspiring me to love music, to learn and love playing guitar and for creating a space for you in all our hearts...You are one of a kind...

I think that is what makes us love his music so much because he wears his heart on his sleeve and sings from his soul.
