This movie is nothing but propaganda

Wilbeforce an arch toty reactionary was opposed to the Slave trade NOT to Slavery

Hen  supported the Corn laws the anti union combanation laws and press ganging/ He care nothing for the industrial working class

who experenced conditions even worst than thoses of the Slaves .

In the end Slavery was abolished mot for any moral reasons but beacause the ruleing claaa decided that wage slavery was a better option

This movie was...AMAZING. Really. Michael Apted & Stephen Knight are geniuses. And so is everyone who participated in the making of this film. It's beautiful.

I cant really see what was wrong with the slave trade, it made a fortune for us.
